The perfect amount of grease fighting power means that I don't have to worry about too much or too little Cascade added. If the kids don't clean off the plates enough, I don't have to worry! I was leery of using the pouches as my dishwasher had the 2 detergent cups. I have been using the regular Cascade for many years but thought that I would like to try the pouches. I was pleasantly surprised at the fantastic results!! They even worked better than the regular Cascade. My dishes seem so much better. I have not used any dishwasher detergent than Cascade for as long as I remember. I had to pick one to submit the review.

I am particularly picky about which dishwasher detergents I use. I purchased a Finish Brand Dishwashing detergent, and my dishes continuously came out with a white cakey layer on them. I wrote Finish a letter and they responded to me telling me why it was probably my fault that their product didn't work. I immediately switched to Cascade and my dishes came out of the dishwasher super clean and super clear every time. I will never use any other dishwasher detergent!

We have a brand new dishwasher and more often then not the packs do not desolve when it is run. After the cycle ends you open the door and the pack is still half full or more. How do dishes get clean if theres not soap in the dish washer. Love the cascade liquid but not the packs.

I have used Cascade (20 Action Pacs) for years. Recently I purchased Cascade Complete 16 pacs ("Powers away 24-hour stuck-on food", UPC 37000 19002. I had never seen this before and decided to try it. I have been very dissatisfied with it, because it does not completely dissolve. Each time I have used it, when the wash cycle if finished, part of the pac is left in the dispenser cup. I wanted you to know this, and I wondered if others have had this same problem. And, incidentally, one of the 16 pacs was empty. I will continue to use the Cascade 20 Action Pacs, which I like very much, but will definitely not buy the aforementioned Cascade. Thank you. BeBe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried EVERYTHING trying to get beautiful crystal stemware and beautiful dishes to sparkle until finally I picked up Cascade as a last resort. What was I thinking not trying it before just because it was cheaper than the other brands, that it wouldn't work better? DUMMY ME! IT WORKED NOT ONLY BETTER BUT THE SPARKLE WAS INCREDIBLE. I WAS AMAZED AT MY BEAUTIFUL EXPENSIVE STEMWARE, NO STUCK ON FOOD, NO STICKY DISHES plus my dishwasher was clean smelling and wonderfully ready clean for the next load. When I opened the washer door I was met with a fresh scent, not a moldy old washer smell. It was such a nice change, even my husband commented on what had I done different that made the kitchen smell better when I went to load the dishes- does that sound like a guy? I will never change from Cascade & have the great savings is a bonus, also I often have to use only 1 instead of 2 for a full load. Believe me, I have tried them all as we have very hard water *& have to use a water softener with salt. I now have 28 converts to Cascade. Thanks Cascade!

I am very unhappy with the new Cascade powder. It leaves an ugly film on the dishes and silverware, which can only be removed with vinegar. I always rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, but it makes no difference. I am now washing all my dishes by hand, and will never buy Cascade detergent again. This after buying no other brand for 30 years.

I have always used a powered diswasher detergent. My store appears to have stopped selling that product, so I tried Cascade Gel in a 45 oz bottle. Each time I use this product, I have to rewash by hand most of my dishes and some of my stainless utensils. Even some cups need rewashed. This is not the purpose of a dishwasher, to have to redo your dishes to get them truly clean. I will not be using this product anymore; I am now in a search for powered dishwasher soap that hopefully will still get my dishes clean.
