I think as dishwashing soap it does what it says it's going to. Dishes come out clean and pretty much spotless. I have an issue with the storage of the big packs. When you get to the bottom of the box they're all stuck together and messy pulling them apart. They break and get all over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pretty sure my dishwasher was the original model installed when my house was built in 1976. I keep waiting for it to "die" so I can get a new one...to no avail. I use cascade dish pacs because other brands, especially "off or store" brands do not clean my dishes at all. I get a genuine sparkling shine on my dishes, so I know they're not only sanitized and germ free for my toddler but also something I can be proud of when serving our friends and family. The dishwasher is embarrassing enough - but at least my serving ware is beautiful! Thanks Cascade for making quality products I can depend on.

The new formulas do basically nothing to clean dishes. Clear glasses end up cloudy regardless of what additives I use. Nope it isn't the water. My dishes actually end up pretty clean with just hot water and no detergent. No cloudiness. The cloudiness is difficult to remove and impossible in some cases. I've basically gone back to hand washing. Please go back to the formula you were using in 2005 when your product actually worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried different name brands and generic and nothing compares to Cascade Platinum. It does what it says, I can have food that is dried and stuck on there and it will remove it. I don't have to completely rinse all dishes like with other brands. I've used it for the last three years and I don't think I will stop using it.

This stuff just works!!! I've used many different products that I *thought* were doing the job. Boy was I wrong! This stuff left my dishes squeaky clean and EVEN dissolved food particles that I missed when filling up the dishwasher. I highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried these Cascade platinum actionpacs. I will say they can handle anything! Even burnt on food in a skillet that's been sitting over night, dried soda and juice in the bottom of cups. These pacs do not leave a film or residue. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is everything I wash in the dishwasher with these pacs “smells” like the pacs.

The last time I used cascade I was getting a white film on all my dishes silverware, so I changed to another product and I donnot get film on dishes anymore someone told me that cascade removed one of their ingredients from their product is this true

I usually use the Powdered Cascade and have for nearly 40 years. I happened to purchase a package of the Cascade cleaning pacs and put them in my dish washer as instructed on the package. I was washing a days worth of dishes which included a copper bottoms pan which has not been shined in years. When the dishes finished cleaning I could not believe my eyes, the copper bottom bottom pan was sparkling, that has never happened before with the powder. That is cleaning power I have never experienced before. I will only buy the pacs from now on knowing all my dishes must be their cleanest.
