The last time I used cascade I was getting a white film on all my dishes silverware, so I changed to another product and I donnot get film on dishes anymore someone told me that cascade removed one of their ingredients from their product is this true

I usually use the Powdered Cascade and have for nearly 40 years. I happened to purchase a package of the Cascade cleaning pacs and put them in my dish washer as instructed on the package. I was washing a days worth of dishes which included a copper bottoms pan which has not been shined in years. When the dishes finished cleaning I could not believe my eyes, the copper bottom bottom pan was sparkling, that has never happened before with the powder. That is cleaning power I have never experienced before. I will only buy the pacs from now on knowing all my dishes must be their cleanest.

Cascade Complete is amazing! I've always had to practically clean my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher, and often do some cleaning after they've been run through. At Thanksgiving my sister put some dishes with stuck on egg (the worst!# into the dishwater, and, not wanting to hurt her feelings, I ran it with Cascade Complete thinking I would deal with the problems later. They came out shining! And film that has been on my glasses for years is gone! My dishwasher is at least ten years old #that's how long I've lived with it) and who knows how much older, so it's not the dishwasher! Now I can run it with a whole week's worth of stuck on egg, etc., and everything comes out sparkling! Finally my dishwasher lives up to its labor-saving promise! Thank you!

I love the gel packs and saw the reviews for this product so I thought it would be a great product. When I used it the first time I noticed my black plates had power detergent on them and the glasses were cloudy. I thought the dishwasher may have been over loaded so I have continued to use it for the past 2 week. With every load I have had to hand wash the bowls and glasses to get the detergent residue. I'm glad I have black plates otherwise I might not notice of the residue. I have a Kenmore dishwasher that's not even a year old and I've never had this problem before with power detergents. Very Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a good working product. It got my dishes clean. Left no residue. I absolutely hate the price though, its overpriced for a product that doesn't seen to work any better or any worse than other products on the market.

I have used Cascade in my dishwasher for over 25 years. However, recently (the last 6 months) it has not worked well. I have cleaned the dishwasher with various products and vinegar....but to no avail. My glasses and plates have a powdery residue on them. I have used jet dry and not used jet dry but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Finally, I have bought a different brand of dishwashwer cleaner and my glasses are shiney again. You cannot find Cascade without Dawn and it seemed that this is when this problem began. I wish proctor and gamble had let a good thing alone as it worked great. Now i have been forced to change products after many many years.

So I decided to try the new Cascade Platinum because it seems like nothing cleans everything with my dishes since we have hard water. I love this! It cleaned everything one time through with no problem. I have not had to worry about the whole pre-wash, wash, wash cycle now I just pre-wash and wash and it is done. Loving it!

I've always bought the cheapest cleaning products available. With my off brand dishwashing product I was prewashing all of my dishes and they still came out with a dirty looking film. If someone put a dish that hadn't been prewashed in the dishwasher it came out with caked-on food. I thought I needed a new dishwasher since mine was about 18 years old. Then one day I ran out of detergent and borrowed a Cascade packet from my neighbor. I was very surprised to see that my dishes were completely clean. I bought Cascade packets and I've had completely clean dishes since! I stopped prewashing and I didn't have to buy a new dishwasher!!! I will never buy anything but Cascade!

I just paid a plumber to remove rock solid chunks of undissolved Cascade All in 1 packets from my dishwasher pipes. It took the plumber 12 rottings and 3 hours to clean them out. I will switch to liquid detergent, but I don't think I will use a P&G product since they obviously don't test their products very well. I will also be letting all my other friends/family know not to use Cascade All in 1 packets to the time, trouble and plumbing costs I experienced.
