[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first tried Cascade Platinum Packs on a load of wine glasses that needed to be washed for an upcoming party we were having. I usually have to rinse and dry them to remove film and water stains, but not when I used the Cascade Platinum packs. I was able to take the glasses from dishwasher to party with no work in between. Since then, I've been using them for our everyday washes and I love how I don't need to pre-rinse. I also love how they don't get stuck together in the package the way many gel packs do.

When I purchased my "new" home last year, the builder put in contractor grade Whirlpool appliances. My dishwasher does not have a rinse aid reservoir, and after much troubleshooting, I found that, although Cascade Platinum does not have rinse agent in it, it's still the best product to get the best clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have heard wonderful reviews of this product, but I have a FisherPaykel machine and the packet is slightly too large to fit into my dispenser. I have tried just putting it in the bottom,but then the contents don't disperse properly and the dishes aren't clean. You need to make them slightly smaller.

I was always a big fan of Cascade until I bought the new product. Cascade with dawn action pacs. I was doing a lot of baking and decided that I would save some time and put my aluminum baking pans in the dishwasher. WRONG.. they came out all discolored. I went and looked at the package and there was on warning as not to use with aluminum bakewear.

I have used this product on and off for about six months now and within the last 60 days have encountered the problem of the pacs not opening up or disolving in the normal wash cycle. When this happens, the wash cycle must be repeated to get the clean dishes. We have city water and the dish washer is only several years old.

Will not make the same mistake twice. I bought Finish the other day and I could not wait for the gel paks to be gone. Had 2 use 2 paks and the dishes still did not come out clean. When I used the 1st Cascade gel pak again after the Finish gel paks, I could not believe how clean my dishes got. Thank you Cascade!

I have had residue on all my loads irregardless of the cycle I choose. Hopefully reformulation will resolve this issue. For now I will be trying another product and if and when this is resolved I will switch back. Very disappointed...new dishwasher after 20+ years of daily dishwashing by hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a self-described minimalist when it comes to prepping anything that needs to go in the dishwasher, scrape solids off, in it goes. Cascade Platinum pods are the third type I have tried and the one I will stay with... everything, except when hubby over-packs a section, that water can reach, comes out perfectly clean. Dishwasher outflow water goes to our septic tank and no change in how well that is working so Cascade Platinum isn't killing off essential septic tank bacteria.

The biggest problem I have had lots of problems with the other products always leaving my glasses spotted with residue and streaks on them. Cascade Complete worked so well it didn't leave any residue, spots or streaks on my glasses. WooHoo! I highly recommend his product.
