I have had residue on all my loads irregardless of the cycle I choose. Hopefully reformulation will resolve this issue. For now I will be trying another product and if and when this is resolved I will switch back. Very disappointed...new dishwasher after 20+ years of daily dishwashing by hand.

A Crying Shame

What did you people do to your product? In my 52 years I have never seen strangers standing around in a supermarket discussing the failure of a product. You newly formulated action pacs leave a nasty film on all my dishes. I have since started using a product from another company and their no phosphate product works fine. Did you folks know that this was happening? Why is there no place on your website to send comments to instead of having to place them in a public forum? This development should be taught in business schools on how NOT to market a product

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a sample of the Cascade Platinum pacs and tried it for the very first time. I was so pleased that I ran out and bought some. The dishes came out nice and clean -- I didn't have to rewash a single dish. I have known for a while how great Dawn is for fighting grease. I keep a bottle of it in my laundry room for grease stains on clothing. The addition of it to the Cascade pacs was genius. Loving my clean, sparkling, grease-free dishes!

clearer glasses without extra rinse aids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Complete left dishes and glasses much clearer and brighter than other products. With Cascade Complete there is no need for rinse aids or rinsing after the dishwasher finishes. That's a big help for those of us with older dishwashers.

Unsatisfactory results

The new Cascade leaves a film on my dishes and glasses in spite of the fact that each item is pre-rinsed. I have always used Jet-Dry which used to be satisfactory. Since Cascade formula has changed, nothing has eliminated the dull look of my glasses and the rough residue left on my dishes.

Ruined 2 pans

I was using a different dishwasher detergent and I always put my aluminum pans in the dishwasher. I used to use Cascade dishwashing detergent quite a few years ago and thought I would try it again. Two of my aluminum pans turned a spotted black and ruined the look of them. One of the pans the soap ruined was handed down to me from my mom (who is now deceased) and it was a favorite pan as it was a smaller size than the big cake pan, which is the other pan that turned a spotted black. The large cake pan was fairly new, but I had washed it several times in the dishwasher before I used Cascade in the dishwasher and ruined the pan. I just wanted you to know I am very displeased with your product and won't be using it again.

cascade - NYTimes article

just read the article in NYTimes re: low phosphate detergents. I must disagree with all the negative comments. the new low phosphate Cascade does a much better job than previous products we tried. We have a rather pathetic dishwasher (Bosch 18" wide compact) that has a tough time getting anything clean. The new LP Cascade is the first product we tried that does a decent job cleaning most anything we put in the machine. the fact that it is better for the environment is, of course, an added benefit. We are glad to see that new environmental rules are spurring innovation. Keep up the good work PG! lastchancebill

Best Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying Cascade Platinum Pacs was one of the best cleaning choices I have made. They are easy to use and extremely effective. Well worth the money spent. These Pacs keep their promise. Everything comes out sparkling clean. I never have to worry about dirty dishes when I use Cascade Platinum Pacs.

Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleanest dishes ever and it smells fantastic! They come out sparkling every time and it's so easy to use! I have tried many others and they all leave a film or a mess in the dishwasher but not these. I'll never use anything else ever again!

Have to handwash afterwards to get the film off!

If one is on well water- don't even bother wasting your money on this!. Have hard well water and though colorado is not one of the 13 states requiring removal of phosphates July 1, apparently that is what we get. The lack of phosphates allows the calcium to deposit and make my crystal look like milk glass and if I didn't wash the dishes before putting in dishwasher the food wouldn't come off either. Give us viable solutions, please. Your website offers no solutions nor an acknowledgment so people can appreciate that it isn't them or their dishwasher! Very frustrated
