[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used powder and a rinse agent for a long time. I recently noticed dishes coming out still a bit dirty since my dishwasher is 10 years old. Instead of having to replace it, I tried the Cascade. It has made a lot of difference in the level of clean and the clarity of our glassware. I liked the powders for being less pricey, but I think this Cascade product performance makes it worth getting.

When I opened a new Cascade in Nov. 2010, I thought something was wrong with my only 2 year old dishwasher. Suddenly food particles were all over all the dishes, and the glasses looked disgusting. I have tried everything out there including Cascade complete packets to no avail. We have hard water and I have only ever air dried, and still it is much harder to hand wash the dishes AFTER they have run through the dishwasher. I avoid using it now and am hoping some entrepreneur online will sell detergent with phosphates in a state where it is legal.

I have been using Cascade Action Pacs since they came out. Recently I purchased the 110 Pack of the Pink Action Pacs. After a few uses, I have found that they leave a bad after taste on plastics, most specifically, plastic cups. I first realized this when my two year-old refused to drink water from her cups. When I smelled a clean cup, I could smell the scent used in the Pink Action Pacs. When I drank from the cup I could also taste it. For this reason, I would not recommend the PINK Action Pacs. I have not had this problem with any of the other colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans everything, glasses, pots/pans, china, silverware beautifully. Also leaves the inside of my dishwasher sparkling. Now I just wish that magic fairy would also clean the outside of the dishwasher!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this product does everything you say it will. my dishwasher is 20 years old and had a lot of stains inside. dawn complete has left my dishwasher looking almost new inside so you know it is getting your dishes clean too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum ActionPacs make my dishes cleaner and free of residue. I will never change as they are convenient and because premeasured actually save money. I have recommended them to all my friends and family.

Phosphate-free Cascade Complete has one drawback -- it doesn't clean very well. A light load of lightly soiled dishes and utensils will emerge clean after a normal wash; a normal load of moderately soiled pots, dishes and utensils will disappoint every time even if put through the dishwasher's most stringent cycle. I have used only Cascade for years, but feel that Procter & Gamble has stumbled badly with its current formulation, no matter how politically correct it may be.

Cascade Advance Power formula i would not recommend. Etched all my glassware, plates did not rinse properly. Tested product with 140 degree water and product did not dissolve. Switched to a liguid brand( not Cascade). new glassware cleaner than ever, no etching, plates rinsed spotless. sorry Cascade....upc# 370017409

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a hard time finding something that cleans, our well water is very hard and has a lot of iron in it, the other cleaners did not work , they made funny color deposits on my silver wear and glasses. Cascade works Great! Thank You very much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the store/bargain pacs as well as powders and gels. Cascade Platinum is by far the best dishwashing product I have ever used. I NEVER have to look at my dishes as I put them away to insure they are spotless. With other products, I would find myself re-washing several dishes each time. Cascade offers the best value because it gets the job done right the first time.
