I just was watching one of your commercials and noticed that it says you don't even have to rinse dishes before placing dishes into the dishwasher. It stated that no rinsing is necessary because cascade will take care of cleaning them. I have to wash the dishes prior to putting them in. I just had to rewash a bowl that had peanut butter in it. There was very little in the dish but it came out dirty so I had to hand wash it, (which happens often). I am now in the habit of hand rinsing all the dishes before I wash them with cascade.

CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A DETERGENT THAT DOES NOT SMELL! I DO NOT COOK FOOD TO TASTE LIKE A MOUNTAIN BREEZE OR CITRUS WHAT EVER. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS BOTTLE TO BE GONE! PLEASE JUST MAKE SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT LEAVE MY DISHES TASTING LIKE MY LAUNDRY!!!!!!

Shortly after I got married, I got my first dishwasher. It came with a green box of Cascade and I loved the dishwasher AND the Cascade. Over the years (I'm 76) I've tried many new things and many cheap things as they came on the market. I've always gone back to Cascade because it really does the best job. After three years of having an unsuable dishwasher, my kids went together and got me a new dishwasher for Christmas. And my daughter remembered...she gave me a large box of Cascade Complete Powder. It will now be the LAST kind of dishwasher detergent I will use. So you see, Cascade was the first I used and the last I use and, in my opinion, the BEST I will ever use! First, Last and Best...Thank you Cascade!

I have used Cascade dishwasher detergent for years. Recently, in an effort to save a little money, I bought a 'store brand' dishwasher detergent instead. The other brand left my dishes with a gritty feel to the touch and a noticeable soap film on my pots and pans. I threw the store brand away, and went out and got Cascade, and my dishes are now clean, shiny, and smooth to the touch again. I won't be trying any other brand again. I learned my lesson the hard way. Thanks for producing such a consistently great product!

i have used the dark green box cascade and was pleased. But my local grocery store did not have it on the shelves the last few times i have been there, so I purchased cascade with dawn. with cascade with dawn, my dishes were covered with a white film that was literally baked on them -- i have to wash my dishes after i use cascade with dawn. Using a different dishwashing soup verified that it was not my dishwasher that caused this awful mess on my dishes -- do not buy this product

I recently bought a package of Cascade Complete dish washer pacs. Of the 26 in the package about 4 did not clean/dissolve in the dishwasher. After the washer completed the cycle you would open the door and see a partially dissolved pack. I would have to run the washer again to get the dishes clean. I would not buy this product again!

I have spent a lot of money buying different forms of Cascade pacs, run the dishwasher repeatedly, and still have not been able to rely on Cascade to dissolve. The dishwasher is working correctly, water temperature is correct, but the pacs just stopped dissolving. I was left with dirty dishes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how it works great to get your dishes clean. It seems to clean the dishwasher well too. And it smells great too. I've used other brands before but they don't do near the job that the detergent does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These packs did not dissolve in our dishwasher. We do have well water, but it is not hard. (Other products dissolve.) After running the dishwasher, even with the hot/sanitize water, we found the gel pack in gooey lump in the dispenser.

I always considered dishwasher soaps equal and the advertising just puffery. However, I am a firm believer in CR( Consumer Reports). A CR writeup several years ago stated that the Cascade action pacs were the best cleaners, even though they were expensive. I was tired of pouring powder and using more than necessary and I don't believe in liquids. I have never regretted my decision. The pacs are convenient, contain just the right amount of detergent and, since I am on well water with a high mineral content, I have hard water. Since starting the pacs I do not have spotting or clouding problems.
