My dad turned me onto this product. He raved and raved about how clean and sparkly his dishes came out. For me, it's horrible. My dishes are coming out not clean at all, and with a white film all over them. I've used regular Cascade in the past with pretty good results, but this stuff is more expensive and is the pits. I'm happy it works for some people, but it doesn't work for me at all.

when I bought my dishwasher it clean no matter what kind of cleaner I used. but, as time went on I noticed things did not come out as clean. I would use better cleaners to get my dishes clean. I noticed that my dishes looked not only cleaned but, sparkled like new when I used cascade. but that my dishwasher was cleaner too when I used this cascade platinum. Having a quality product that is effective is important to me. I feel this product is a superior choice when it comes to dishwasher detergent.

I debated about throwing away what had been my Mom's Pyrex pan because it appeared to be impossible to clean. My husband suggested trying to wash it first, and if it didn't come clean then toss it out. After removing the big chunks of burned meat, I used the Cascade Platinum to wash it. To my surprise, it came out sparkling clean!

I am a widow and run my dishwasher only when I fill it which can take up to 4 days. Consequently, I have stuck-on eggs, baked goods and frying pan residue, etc. that need to be cleaned. I am really impressed that absolutely all of the dishes, pots and pans, and especially the flatware, comes completely clean. For years I have pre-washed dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. I recently attended a food and drink type show and was given sample packets of Cascade Complete action packs at the door. I have always used Cascade powder in my dishwasher. I tried the Complete Action packs and my dishes were so much cleaner and shiny looking compared to the powder. I was glad to have received the samples because I will now purchase the packs
