As a retired military servicemember, I have lived in numerous parts the the United States. I have used various brands of dishwashers and dishwasher detergeants and had always been disappointed in the result of the wash. I was never sure if it was the brand of dishwasher or of the detergeant. There was always spots, even when using agent which were designed to prevent spotting. Since using Cascade 2in1 ActionPacs with the Power of Dawn, I have stoppped worrying about spots on my dishes and whether they are clean or not. I no longer have to check each item, re-wash, wet and dry to remove spotting, or scrape food that didn't come off. I am confident enough that I simply remove the dished from the dishwasher and put them away with confidence that they are clean. As a single parent, even one less worry to deal with at home is a big relief.

I have used Cascade in my dishwasher for over 25 years. However, recently (the last 6 months) it has not worked well. I have cleaned the dishwasher with various products and vinegar....but to no avail. My glasses and plates have a powdery residue on them. I have used jet dry and not used jet dry but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Finally, I have bought a different brand of dishwashwer cleaner and my glasses are shiney again. You cannot find Cascade without Dawn and it seemed that this is when this problem began. I wish proctor and gamble had let a good thing alone as it worked great. Now i have been forced to change products after many many years.

I have long believed that Cascade is the best Dishwasher Detergent on the market. So, I was excited to try the New Zealand Springs scent ActionPacs. What a MISTAKE! The scent is so strong, and lingers so badly that all of our food tastes awful! The dishes have no residue or film that I can see or feel, but the scent is so strong it carries over. I have to re-wash all my dishes after taking them out of the dishwasher, and that doesn't always get rid of it. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase.

Only dishwasher stuff I use, as it is the only one that thoroughly cleans my dishes and leaves my glasses shiny like new. If I finish a meal and place dirty dishes (scrap scrapes into trash first), and throw one of these pacs in, they come out looking new and don't have an issue with residue or stuck on food. Will not use any other type of dishwasher detergent/pacs as I love the cascade platinum.

I tried, was very hard to do, not cleaning my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher when I tried the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs. WOW, my dishes came out CLEAN!! Now, this is the only product I will ever use!! Thanks for making my life a little easier!!

The 32 pack of Cascade with Grease Fighting Power of Dawn (Citrus Scent 4X concentrated )were purchased probably 6 mos ago and placed in overflow storage in my home until I needed to refill my jar that I keep under the sink. When I opened the pouch of 32, some of the pacs felt moist to the touch. Strangely, they weren't sticking together. There is also a film of yellow liquic (the citrus, I suspect) across the bottom of the plastic pouch. Just wonder if anyone else has experienced this "phenomenon". Hopefully the Citrus Scent won't be overpowering like I've read from others' comments! And hopefully, the product will perform as I expect. Since Cascade is always more $$, I have tried other brands with great success. Thanx.

We have a 17 year old dishwasher that just wasn't getting the job done anymore. We live in an area with very hard water and the dishes would come out spotted even when it was brand new. We tried all kinds of rinsing agents, etc. Not much improvement. Lately, they were coming out caked with a soap film that hadn't rinsed off. I'd try to scrub the film off and it just got worse. It got to the point that we just hand washed everything and used the dishwasher as a drying rack. Then I saw this product. We gave it a go just to see what would happen. EUREKA!! It worked! Not only did our dishes come out clean with no soapy film but we also discovered we didn't' have to pre-wash all the dishes before putting them in the washer! Even stuck on food came off! Our final test was pots and pans, something we could never put in this dishwasher. They all come out squeaky clean, no spots and even shine! I don't think I've had shiny dishes ever in this house! I am so happy to be able to use our dishwasher again - with 3 kids and a husband dishes are a constant in our house. I highly recommend this product. The cost is worth it! We thought we were going to have to get a new dishwasher. I'm happy to just buy these packs. Thanks Cascade!

I couldn't stand the Cascade action pacs not dissolving. I just remodled my kitchen and bought new appliances. My new high end Frigidaire dishwasher didn't make a bit of difference. I thought it was the old Kitchen Aid washer that was the problem of the Cascade pacs not dissolving. Not so. The first wash it worked, then the second one was a no go. I even set the washer to high temp scrub, still the pac didn't dissolve. I will stay with the liquid cascade.

used the old formula for years - no problem - used the new formula and ALL of my aluminum is badly discolored - checked the box - way down at the bottom of the back of the box it says "don't use with aluminum" THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT SHOULD BE IN LARGE TYPE ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX

I would recommend this to anyone who asks me. it seems to leave the dish washer sparkling clean inside after the cycle has completed. again, I would tell all my friends to use this product
