I feel bad about writing this, and wish I didn't have to. The long and the short of it is that this is the first P&G product we've come across that doesn't work as well as the product we were going to replcae it with. My wife and I use Tide, Febreze, Cascade dish powder, and other P&G products, and they all work great. We're loyal customers. But we found when we used the Cascade Complete All-in-1s, instead of our regular Cascade powder, that the little packets consistently left food particles stuck to utensils and vessels. Not on everything mind you, just scattered around so you had to inspect everything carefully when you took it out of the dishwasher. We decided to run some tests and alternate between Cascade powder and Cascade Complete. In every single test, under similar load with the same diswasher setting, Cascade powder got everything clean and Cascade Complete routinely left hardened food particles on the objects being washed. The filter on the dishwasher is clean. We tried putting one, and two packets in the loads that we washed, but the quantity made no difference. Our water is mountain water which means it doesn't have a lot of minerals in it. We're sticking with Cascade powder, but we thought you ought to know how we feel. It's a shame really. We've got shares in P&G because we really do believe in the company. But we think that this product has proven to be a failure in our case.

Cascade does a beautiful job on my dishes and glasses. No film, just sparkle! My comment us about the container. I just opened a new tub (Like a small bucket) holding 115 packs. I removed the band so I could open the lid. I looked at the band and thought for sure it was to be reattached to enable the consumer to have a handle (like a bucket has). It could be easily adapted to reuse the band in this way if there were tabs on each side that could be pulled open and that band then hooked on in the existing holes.

The ActionPacs make it easy to use and my dishes seem cleaner and the glassware shines. I am so glad I changed.

I used to use Finish and these Cascade Platinum packs work 10x better. My dishes are cleaner, sparkle and shine more! I wish they were a little better value for money, but not having to run a load twice or hand wash as much certainly saves in the long run! A must buy!

Since money is somewhat tight these days, I thought I would buy a generic brand of dishwasher detergent. "It will probably do the job just as well as Cascade," I thought to myself. I could not have been more wrong. I had to run my dishwasher at least twice before my dishes came close to being clean. That was after I had practically washed them clean in the sink first! In the long run I ended up spending much more in time, money and electricity by using the generic brand. I have learned my lesson and gone back to Cascade. I have finally discovered what the cause is for the nasty white film that is being left on my dishes. When I see in the articles that you have had few complaints maybe it is because folks are unaware of the change to the product. Many have actually bought new dishwashers to try to solve the problem which is what my husband wanted to do. I currently add Lemi Shine for an large extra expense and they are passable but it probably contains phosphates. The current product is terrible.

i have been using the Cascade platinum for almost a year and I will never put anything else in my dishwasher. I had ran out of dishwasher soap and ask to borrow some of my mom's Finish and after using hers for a few washes I went to the store and got my Cascade. My dishwasher is clean and all of my dishes come out sparkling. There is no residue or spots. I love my cascade platinum and will only use it.

We purchased two boxes of Cascade with "Dawn" for use in automatic dish washer. In the first few minutes of use the dish washer began to ooze suds from the door and out of the over flow pipe. After stopping the washer, mopping up and cleaning out the soup dispensers we had to cycle the machine several time to clear out all the foam. Another product used afterward from a rival company worked without any problems. This product maybe better marketed as a bubble bath. I do not recommend it for use in automatic dish washers. I also recommend you try out your products before going through the expense of manufacturing and marketing.

Wow they are not he same. I couldn't believe how clean my dishes were after just one use of cascade. I always thought it was my dishwasher. What a wonderful surprise. I do not have to replace my dishwasher.
