[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before using the Cascade complete packs, my dishwasher just wasn't getting my dishes clean: would often pull out "clean" cutlery or glasses with nasty bits stuck to them, and my dishwasher smelled musty. Using the Complete packs was a revelation; not only were my dishes spotlessly clean, but my machine seemed cleaner and smelled fresh. Cannot sing the praises enough of the Cascade Complete packs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These platinum pacs are great. They make our 20 year old dishwasher clean like it is new again. (If only it was as quite as a new one.) Our family will only purchase cascade products for our dishwashing needs.

I've been using Cascade since we got the dishwasher (approx 8 years ago). I decided to try the Cascade complete (because I had tried the Cascade with Dawn and liked it) last week and was very disappointed. I even took out some of the dishes and washed the load again with the same resutls. My glasses, dishes, silverware and plastics were covered with a chalky film. I was so disappointed, and of course since I've previously used and loved Cascade products, I bought the big bag. I don't even think I'll finish the bag and I certanily won't buy this product again.

My husband loves to cook. Only problem is he dirties up every dish, pot, and pan we own. These Platinum Pacs are awesome in getting his FULL loads of dishes sparkling clean. We never have any issues with stuck on foods and we never rinse our dishes before we load them. I would recommend them to everyone.

I've tried all of the "new and improved" products and HATE THEM! I've had the dishwasher repair service out twice for my new dishwasher which is less than one year old. I thought it was the dishwasher, then thought it was the garbage disposal, but now find it's the detergent! The dishes have food particles on them if I don't use a separate rinse agent (what happened to "All in One?"). And they stink like fish even if they look clean when using the rinse agent (the repairman confirmed the smell). Our City tap water smells just fine, so I know it's not that, and we rarely eat fish. Please don't imply that I'm not operating the cleaning process properly and completely. I've been keeping house and using a dishwasher for over 30 years and have never had this problem. I've tried two different cleaning agents for the dishwasher, that the repairman recommended. I've run white vinegar through the dishwasher. We get the water nice and hot and don't run anything that would lower the water pressure. We scrape the chunks off the plate and load the dishwasher properly. I am at my wits end!! It is so embarrassing to serve food or drink from my dishes, as they smell! I have noticed the same thing at friends' homes. I have to rinse the dishes with City tap water prior to putting them in the cupboard! I'm at a point of just washing by hand, it's so frustrating. I don't care how much you say that the product works and it's the operator that needs to change -- this product does NOT work and it's the product that needs to change. I am returning it and not buying it again unless IT changes. Why use a dishwasher if I have to do the dishes again by hand? Yes, we're keeping phosphates out of the oceans (which is a minute amount, by the way) but we're wasting water, time, energy and money using something that just does not work. I believe in preserving our environment, but there are plenty of other issues that are far greater than the minute amount of phosphates in our water systems. If we are going back to washing by hand, we should start making our own bread and sewing our own clothes, too. This is just ridiculous.

We have lived in our home in the country now for 6 years and we have a well for our water. I have tried so many products that would "try" to get my dishes like I wanted them but nothing would work. When this product came out and I saw the commercials I thought "Why not! I've tried everything else on the market". The first time I tried them I was totally AMAZED! My husband even noticed the difference. Thanks Cascade for saving my sanity.

Cascade pacs do a decent job on most surfaces, shine glassware, stainless and plates nicely, wash pots ok....BUT leave a powdery residue on certain shiny plastics like my tupperware strainer. And isn't QUITE as effective cleaning hard dirt as the old phosphates...but still, not bad at all. Why Cascade doesn't take the powder off the market I do not know!

The capsules are good, the smell is neutral, there is no foreign smell on the washed dishes, it washes the dishes effectively. after washing the dishes are without residue or streaks. The packaging is convenient to use. the price corresponds to the quality.

I don't usualloy ever do this type of thing. But was so happy that finally a product that does exactly what it claims to do...My dishes come out spotless!!! Really great shine I have tried many, many, products this one is by far the best! Will continue to use this great product!
