[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum Action Pacs are outstanding! They get the job done every time - no matter how long the food has been stuck! Though they are a bit pricey, they are extremely worth it and make up for the price with their efficiency!

We have used Cascade for years with a myriad of different dishwashers and have been pleased with the results. However, when you took the phosphate out, the whole product "went South"! We had heavy soap film on our glasses, our plates, our silverwear----they were unusable and unsuitable to eat and drink with. Running them in vinegar removed the film but after a few loads, we were right back where we started. Calling in a dishwasher repairman, he found heavy buildup of soap; so much that it looked like a bubble bath on the bottom of the dishwasher. He advised that since Cascade had taken the phosphate out ( which helped the soap break down to be properly rinsed away), he was seeing this problem all over L. A. County. He recommended another product that still had the phosphate included and problem solved! We will buy no more Cascade and I have dumped out what I had left.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a dishwasher that is about 20 years old and my dishes were not getting clean with other cleaners my son told me too try cascade, the first time I used it all my dishes were clean even skillets.I highly recommended this product.even keeps my dishwasher smelling clean.

I have tried all of the cascades! after a cycle, some of the silverware still has food on it, Cups have coffee rings and everything has a cloudy gritty feel to them. Even with the platinum. I switched from another top rated brand to this cause my best friend swore it was the best. No, its not worth it. My dishwasher was expensive, and was one of the best on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried this a few times and don't think it's any better than a liquid detergent. For the price I'll stick to cascade gel which is less expensive. Would only use again if cheaper or won the sweepstakes.

I was using another name brand dishwasher tablet. My dishes were not coming clean, even with me prerinsing before the wash. I decided to try a new dishwasher tab before replacing my dishwasher. I tried the cascade with Dawn and my dishes came out spotless. It even got the old residue off my dishes and my glasses were like chrystal clear. This product saved me hundreds of dollars because it was the previous product was not working. I am no longer ambarassed of my dishes and I am sure my stomach will appreciate it, too.

The Action Pacs don't open in the dishwasher!! They are the worst--they are expensive and they look like they would be a good idea but they simply don't work. Just for experimentation's sake we ran the dishwasher 4 TIMES to see if the Action Pac would open up & after the 4th time we gave up--there it sat exactly as it was when we first put it in. We have never had any problems (nor do we now) with any kind of detergent in our dishwasher--gel or powder--these are just the worst!!!

I like the product and how it cleans the dishes but I can not take the "Fresh" scent my whole dishwasher smells. When I bring storage containers to work with food everything taste like the "Fresh" scent of the dishwasher packet. I would recommend Cascade just not the scent versions. I now have to figure out how to get the smell our of my dishwasher and storage containers.

I received a sample of this in the mail. I was so impressed with it I went immediately out and bought. I was having problems with spotty glass ware and dishes looking dull. We had just purchased a new dish washer too. I tried these and I was sold. My father n law was complaining about his dishes and wanted my husband to come over and take a look. I suggested these, his problem was solved. Nothing wrong with our dishwashers just product we were using. But not any more with Platinum Cascade.

I love Cascade Gel Packs! I had been using Finish with the power ball. I had gotten a package of Cascade from my mother after I ran out. I used it once and will never buy the Finish again!! There was no grit left over on my glasses, the pots were clean, my casserole dish from sticky enchilladas came perfectly clean. I work at a hotel and we have to use Finish in the guest room dishwashers. I wish we could switch to Cascade!! LOVE LOVE your product thank you!!
