I decided to step it up and bought the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs and I'm sold! They get my dishes clean, even in an antique dishwasher. Lol! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In comparison to other brands that I have tried, Cascade Platinum Action Paks works better in my dishwasher. However, I do use 2 packets each wash. Then sometimes, skillets or pots have to be rewashed by hand.

I have a two year old stainless steel dishwasher and the only way to get clean dishes with these pacs is to wash the dishes before they go into the dishwasher and then wipe all the undissolved white powder off after they are finished. This is too much work! I hate these things.

My wife and I are quite particular about how our dishes should look coming out of the dishwasher, and Cascade Platinum sets the "Platinum" standard for how your dishes should look. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Trust us, spend the money on Cascade Platinum Pacs!

I know that phosphate had to be removed from dishwasher products but the results I get from Cascade are worse than useless. I've used Cascade practically since dishwashers were invented. Now my dishes are dingy, plastics are filmy and cloudy, and the metal all looks like it's been buried in the back yard for a month. It's almost impossible to get it off. I either don't bother to use the dishwasher, or have to rinse and dry everything after. What is the point? I'm very, very VERY disappointed in this new formulation.

I don't have to rewash any dishes when emptying the diswasher. YOU ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for. I also use the Cascade gel mixed with water to clean my tile floors and showers. Can't get the stuff out of bottle-took white cap off and had to shake bottle to get anything out of hole-thought the bottle might have frozen while getting it to the house but went back to store and tried shaking other bottles of similiar product and there was no slushing sounds like in other brands of dishwasher soap-what should I do-please advise

I just had to write, I bought a different brand name of diswasher detergent, it was cheaper not only for price but also for results, my dishes were still dirty and greasy after the full cycle. I will never use any other except Cascade diswasher detergent again. I wasted more time and water by rewashing the dishes by hand and not saving anything in the long run and adding to the chore, you have an AWESOME product thank you .
