I usually buy cascade complete gel for my dish washer. Since money is tight, I bought the cascade powder instead. Bad decision. The cascade powder ruined my dishes. Several of my good pots and cups, a collander, bowls; everything in my dishwasher at the time. I've rewashed my dishes with the cascade gel after I pre-soaked them and re-washed them in the sink with dish soap, and still the dried soap scum wont come off. Wth...

I love the ActionPacs!! Now anyone--and I do mean ANYONE!!--can start the dishwasher!! I dont have to worry about SOMEONE adding too much or too little powder or gel to the machine, and NO ONE has to clean up the powder or gel spilled on the floor or in the cabinet. Thanks, Cascade!!

Adtrr having to run two cycles using this brand, I saw why it was so cheap. I immediately went back to cascade and have not had to "double back" anymore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum is by far the best dishwasher detergent I have used. We recently moved into a new house with very hard water. I had essentially given up using the dishwasher due to the white residue left on everything. After trying the Cascade Platinum I was able to start using the dishwasher again. It even made the dishwasher itself a little cleaner.I will continue to use this product.

My wife and I used to use other detergents including other packets but our dishes always seemed to be cloudy or would have to be washed a second time. Since we started using Cascade action packs with Dawn all of our cloudy dishes have become crystal clear on the first wash and I have yet to have to wash a dish more than once to get it clean. Would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

I have never been so disappointed and frustrated with a product to write a company. Hopefully, P&G actually reads and cares. I understand the purpose of the new formula, but surely you can do something to compensate and eliminate the nasty white film being left on and ruining my dishes. I know multiple people who have blamed and replaced their dishwashers, when it has nothing to do with the dishwasher but the detergent. So incredibly disappointed and frustrated. Time to go back to hand washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great at cleaning dishes, but I noticed today when removing some dishes from the dishwasher that weren't dry that there is a clear, slippery coating on the dishes. Probably the substance that makes the dishes shiny and spot-proof.

My dishes and silverware come out so clean since using Cascade Platinum. We all know the kids do not know how to scrape off a dish before "throwing" it in the dishwasher! I am very pleased with this great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used the Cascade brand to clean my dishes, but as an allergy sufferer, I dont need to be offended by one more scented product. How about an unscented version of a great dishwasher detergent? Who needs scented pots and pans anyway??

After using Cascade for years in my dishwashers we are discouraged. The new Cascade that is trying to save the universe by eliminating phosphates is a waste of money. It no longer cleans dishes unless they are already clean when placed in the dishwasher. So more detergent is used and more water is used to acheive the same result. Once again the fake save the planet activists have us taking another step backward to the 19th century. P&G put the phosphates back in your products.
