We used to prewash with Dawn and use Cascade in our dishwasher. That worked out well and would leave no food particles on the dishes. I was sent to the store and saw them and decided to use the action pacs since in combined two products that we already use. We have now been using the dropins for several months. The prewash has been cutdown to a rinse and our dishes have never been more brite.

I have hard Water (well water) and Cascade Platinum Pacs is the only dishwasher detergent that works with my hard water! Never leaves hard water spots on glasses, and dishes come out clean and sparkling! I have used Cascade Platinum Pacs for years, and will never use anything else!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product because it was advertised that no prewashing was necessary. I did rinse the dishes before loading in the dishwasher. The dishes came out with a white powder dusting on them and some of the dishes felt gritty. I hand washed the dishes in Dawn and donated the Cascade to the Goodwill. I went back to the Cascade Gel and am very happy.

I had been using cascade with bleach and my dishes and glassware that had a film on them. I got cascade complete and they are worse than with the cascade with bleach. I don't know if I'll ever get the shine back. The Tupperware and plastic looks totally ruined. I have used cascade in the past and never had a problem with it.

I takes cleans the dishes even those that have been sitting for multiple days that have dried on grease and food. It even smells good. If you want dishes that sparkle and not have to worry that are clean, not matter if you have hard water ir soft, you need to try Cascade Platinum.

seems in last 2 years it has ruined many old family pots . had to throw out 30-40 year old presure cooker it discolored and many other pots and pans ,and putting streaks in my Bosh dishwasher . i will find some other dish wash product. NOT REAL HAPPY with this product......

My dishwasher is 25 years old, I have hard water and Cascade has always been used by my mom for at least 30 years I know of. I tried the action packs, WOW!!! my dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, everything.......CLEAN!! no food residue, no spots, nothing! Thank you Cascade! I am a loyal customer!

Just want everyone to know that I recently tried the new 'Finish' product and will NEVER try another dishwasher detergent again. Even using 2 tabs, in my dishwasher with the 2 wash cycles, I still had grease and food particles left on my dishes! That NEVER happens with CASCADE, unless I am careless in loading the dishwasher! And, with Cascade I only use 1 gel pac, letting the first wash cycle be just water and the gel pac in the dispenser for the second wash cycle. No dirty dishes, even using half the cleaning product. Thank you Cascade for a product I can depend on!!!!!

I have a Maytag 3-tier dishwasher, several years old, and have very rarely had to re-wash anything that's gone through the cycle. I DO NOT rinse my dishes before loading them, and now that I'm widowed and live alone, I run my dishwasher only every 5-7 days. Still, from glassware to frying pans, my dishes sparkle and are streak-free when I unload them. Thanks, Cascade!
