[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dishwasher had stopped cleaning the dishes. We were unable to purchase another one so we were washing our dishes by hand. During a yard sale I found a used dishwasher for $20.00 so I bought it. At first it wasn't working great but I cleaned the machine and started using Cascade Platinum and believe it or not, the machine is working great.

The only thing it did was make me go out and buy Cascade Platinum. Sure, there are cheaper dishwasher detergents, but why would you want to wash dishes after the dishwasher cuts off? I will forever be a Cascade Platinum user. Use that with the Cascade rinse agent, and you have a winning combination.

I was given this product as a "house warming" gift by my mom when we moved into our new place. I was excited to try it as I had wanted to for a long time, but the higher price had always made me sway away from it...well let me be the first to tell you that yes it may be higher in cost, but you save time and money by using your product. After I ran out of the jumbo box my mom had given me I tried to go back to the dish washing product I had used previously and found myself having to put dishes back through the wash because they either didn't come clean or because they had dried with the other brand's dish washing product still on my dishes! I am a firm believer now in your product and will tell everyone that it's worth the price for getting it right the first time! Keep up the good work, Cascade!

It did clean my dishes ok, but it left a white film on them. I ended up going back to using really cheap dishwasher soap and adding vinegar, my glasses and dishes came out spotless then. Adding vinegar to the machine with this product only made things worse! Not recommended for very hard water, even with rinse aid!

Due to budget constraints, I often have to go with the least expensive products. I received a trial pack and was so blown away by how well it worked, that I was hooked! A bargain isn't really a bargain if you have to do it twice or use twice as much! I barely rinse any more! The glasses are crystal clear, none of that haze that I used to get with the bargain brands! I am definitely a fan and a long term customer! Thanks so much!

I have been a long time user of Cascade Dishwashing Detergent. But, lately, I have been disappointed with this product. It is normally thick and creamy, but I have purchased faulty product twice in the last few months. Instead of being a thick, creamy consistency, it is like water. It is clear, does not have that clean bleachy smell, and pours out of the bottle just as if the bottle has been filled with water, instead of Cascade Dishwashing Detergent. Then trying to fill the dishwasher cups without splashing, is almost an impossibility. Unfortunately, I don't think I will purchase Cascade again, as quality control is just not what it used to be. I did not see anywhere else to write about my problem, so I had to put my dissatisfaction in customer reviews. Thank you.

I've used many brands of dishwasher detergent, but I found one that REALLY WORKS GREAT! It leaves the dishes, glasses & silverware clean & shiny without any residue! I don't have to pre-rinse my dishes because it removes the food! It also leaves the stainless interior of my dishwasher clean, shiny and odor free!! As a result, I've been using Cascade Platinum exclusively for 2 years now!
