A friend gave me a pack of Cascade Platinum and I gave them a try. I will never, never ever, go back to my old brand. I could not believe the difference in my dishe. I thought there was something wrong with my dishwasher, but I was wrong. I recommend these to everyone!

I bought Cascade Complete and found that it etched my glasswear and ruined some plastic glasses. I cannot get the film off, and have had to throw some glasses away. I have soft water and use a rinse aid, so I don't know why this is happening. Unfortunately, I bought a large container that I probably won't finish.

We have been using Cascade for a very long time. We recently bought the Cascade with Dawn, powder. Every item in the dishwasher was left with a milky-white residue. I rewashed and the result was the same. I washed everything by hand with dishwashing liquid and added a little bleach. Voila!!! I realize that this "no phosphates" deal is an environmental, green thing but, if a product doesn't work, it should be off the market. What's the point? It is evident that there are many people as disappointed as I am. You have a loyal customer base, don't ruin it. As for myself, I will not be buying this product anymore and will not recommend it to anyone I know. Sorry.

If I could, I would give a zero star rating. After being a Cascade user for many years, and noticing that my glasses and plastics slowly becoming ruined with white film and etching over that last few months I wondered if the formula had changed. After Googling and finding the answer here I am angry that Cascade made no attempt to package their new formula with warnings about the damage that might be caused with the change and, especially for consumers in hard water areas. Glasses that I had inheirited from my mother are ruined along with very expensive Tupperware that is sold as dishwasher safe. Do we now have to wash everything by hand? I will not be able to be a Cascade consumer anymore and I am certain no one else can use this new this formula and be happy with the results. The whole point in washing dishes is so that they become clean and clean looking. Please get your chemists heads together to solve this situation!

No matter what dishes I have put in the dishwasher stuck on, baked on, or the craziest drink cups my kids love to use, they come out spotless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a stainless steel dishwasher and very hard water so my glasses, dishes and dishwasher were always cloudy with a white film all over it, I tried all the dishwasher cleaners out there but nothing worked until I started using the CASCADE PLATINUM PACS and slowly but surely my dishwasher was sparkling clean along with all my dishes, I don't have any more film on my glasses, I have told many people how well the product works, even the GE technician who came to service my refrigerator.

Bought Cascade Complete gave it a try. Used it multilpe times trying to be fair. Followed instructions on the package on how to use it. The results were the same. The Cascade Complete did not clean the dishes. On one try I used a double dose and another try I washed the dishes a second time. Dishes still not cleaned. The packet stuck in the detergent cup would not drop into the washer even though the cup was dry when the packet was put in each time I put it in the cup.

I have used both the powder packet and the gel wasn't happy with ether one all though the gel left fewer spots than the powder . I went with a nother brand and there were all most no spots and no film like CASCADE leaves on the glasses . You need to check out that blue stuff it works great ! SORRY I use the powder now that there hard as a brick to help clean my tolit . I got a bunch left over and no place to use them !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got a working dishwasher installed after 3 years without one, so I was excited to try these out. I was very impressed with the clean of the dishes and no spots on the glassware. However, the only negative I have experienced so far is that even when I do use the extra rinse setting on my dishwasher with high heat setting, sometimes there is still a little bit of gritty/sandy residue on some of the upper rack items. We also use a water softener with plenty of salt in it,so I know our water is not the problem. If Cascade can stop this grit problem, this product would be just about perfect to me.
