I was impressed by the new bright shine of my dishes the first time I used Cascade Extra Action 2 in 1 Action Pacs with Dawn. But I was also surprised by the very strong perfume-like aroma that bellowed out of my dishwasher. The label says it is the "melon blossom scent"... it smells like a cheap perfume. I wouldn't mind, but unfortunately now that I have used the product 3 times, that aroma seems to be locked into my plastic ware. My kitchen cupboard has the smell in it, and when I microwave my foods in the containers, the smell is in the dish and the microwave. Otherwise, the product works well.

Just don't expect it to blast through incorrectly racking dirty dishes in your dishwasher it's pretty awesome but it's not magic. It's science! And don't forget The Cascade Platinum Rinse aid.

We have been using Finish Quantum since we got our dishwasher and recently it just got to where it wouldn't get silverware clean and glasses had a film sometimes. I decided to try Cascade Platinum and we love it! Everything is just so much cleaner with this.

I just was watching one of your commercials and noticed that it says you don't even have to rinse dishes before placing dishes into the dishwasher. It stated that no rinsing is necessary because cascade will take care of cleaning them. I have to wash the dishes prior to putting them in. I just had to rewash a bowl that had peanut butter in it. There was very little in the dish but it came out dirty so I had to hand wash it, (which happens often). I am now in the habit of hand rinsing all the dishes before I wash them with cascade.

My husband was very ill and took up most of my time careing for him, we used to use Electrasol and even tried Finish Powerball but I aways had to rinse the dishes first or the food would stick on and dry that way, spots on glasses and spots with dry food on the silverware. Then one day I ran out and there was a special on Cascade so I tried it. I'm here to tell you that I not only did not need to rinse first but my glasses were spotless, my Water,Gas and Elect.bill is much lower now that I don't need to pre-wash or rerun my dishwasher. Just one run and I'm done. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many different pods in my dishwasher over the past couple years and only the Cascade Platinum ActionPacs I trust to get my dishes completely clean. I hate scrubbing my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I don't always get to my dishes right away. With the other type of pods I still have food stuck to my dishes every once in a while, which is a pain and can be embarrassing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full Disclosure: I am only doing this for the entry to the contest but my opinions are true, so let's see if I have a chance without giving 5 stars;) It does get the left-on food my teenage son leaves on the dishes, and water spots are minimized compared to it's closest competitor. The price without being on sale or with coupons is, in my opinion, a little high.

I have extremely rusty water, and the inside of my dishwasher was starting to turn orange after using a box of another brand. The dishes, too, were not coming completely clean. I switched to Cascade Platinum and immediately saw cleaner, shinier dishes. And the "orange" inside the dishwasher is barely noticeable any more.

I don't need to pre-wash dishes to put in the dishwasher, it removes food particles and leaves my dishes sparkling and dry!! What I like best is that it's ONE STEP and ONE PRODUCT to clean dishes!!!!!
