I have used this product on and off for about six months now and within the last 60 days have encountered the problem of the pacs not opening up or disolving in the normal wash cycle. When this happens, the wash cycle must be repeated to get the clean dishes. We have city water and the dish washer is only several years old.

I loved the results I was getting with Cascade in my automatic dispensing dishwasher!! Until it quit working because the detergent reacted with one I used previously and congealed in the dispenser! I understand that I was warned about this in the dishewasher manual when I purchased the maching several years ago, but there was NO indication on the bottle that this particular new formula contained the ingredients that would react with the old formula. I chuckled when I read your statement about trust on the website. The failure on your part to be clear ON THE BOTTLE about the "dangers" is not a way to foster trust. Also I was told by both GE and P&G that replacing the dispenser was the ONLY fix. By using boiling water and long-handled scrubbers, I was able to clean it out again. I want to warn others, though, that changing to this new product is not without drawbacks and P&G will NOT let you know up front with its packaging what you need to know to make that decision. I was also offended by the 2 customer service reps I spoke to on the phone who just blamed me for the problems.

The packs do not open up and dissolve in my dishwasher. I have used the packs for over a year now from cascade and have not had a problem until I bought the All in One Action packs. Maybe it is just a bad bag, but please advise if anyone else has this problem. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used this for years. Wish it was a little better at removing hard water spotting and marks from dishes, but overall it is a very good dishwasher detergent. Leaves spots sometimes but gets dishes cleaner than many other products I have used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It washes my dishes the best, and leaves a really nice scent. The other dishwasher detergents tend to leave bits of stuck food. And I have to wash them a second time to get them nearly as clean as Cascade does.

I thought this was going to be a good product; however I have discovered that if there is any moisture at all in the detergent dispenser in my dishwasher, the packs stick to the door of the dispenser and it won't open for the wash cycle. Many times I have opened my dishwasher to unload the clean dishes only to discover that the detergent was never used. I then have to re-run the wash cycle. It is too inconvenient to have to remember to dry out the compartment before putting in the detergent pack.

I have a new dishwasher (GE) and received a sample of your product with the dishwasher. I was pleased with the product and purchased Cascade Complete Dawn. Cups/coffee mugs had to be rewashed. I now know to rinse the dishes first, although the product states "No pre-rinse needed. Scrubs away tough foods". I do not consider plates and coffee mugs heavy stains.

No scrubbing or rinsing. It is the best I have ever tried. Love Love Love it. The only product I will use.
