I have to admit that I was very skeptical when I first bought Cascade Platinum. I have always been a bargain hunter so I always steered towards cheaper products, however, from the very first time I used it I IMMEDIATELY saw a difference with my dishes and my dishwasher. Every time I used it everything came out so clean. I have recommended Cascade to all of my friends and they have been astonished as well. I will never switch to any other product, its so worth every penny!!

So, I buy a package of the Cascade Pure Essentials Tabs and after 3-4 washes my pans start turning black on the outside. I come here and read how this has happened to numerous folks and the company reps say it is due to the phosphate free formula and aluminum pans are not dishwasher safe. WRONG WRONG WRONG. I also have a box of FINISH tabs which occasionally leave a white powder residue on the load but NEVER turned my pans black. So I figured I would check the label....guess what? FINISH IS PHOSPHATE FREE ALSO AND DID NOT TURN PANS BLACK. I understand aluminum pans are not dishwasher safe but for a company to say, Oh its all the pans fault, is ridiculous. Thousands of people have been using them in the dishwasher for many many years without them turning black so the fact that Boom! we change detergent all the sudden they turn black is the pans fault or our fault for putting aluminum in the dishwasher? When another brand does not turn them black? I don't think so.

The first time the packs didn't open after an entire cycle, I wasn't pleased, but used another and it seemed to work fine. The next time I tried to place another package into my standard dishwasher, the Cascade Pack didn't open again. Upon using a second immediately after, again, it didn't open after an entire cycle. These are a complete waste of money and I will never buy again.

The product ate the finish off the outside of my pots and pans and left a white film on them. My pots and pans are ruined and it is not like they are cheap to replace. Very upset and disappointed!

I started using Cascade Complete a few weeks ago. I have really noticed a difference in how clean my dishes are when I take them out of the dishwasher. I don't have to "wash" the dishes prior to loading the dishwasher. Just a quick rinse in my sink and the entire load come out super clean when the cycle is complete - especially my glasses.

The dishwasher product is great and does what one wants out of dishwasher detergent. However the TV commercials depicting men as the low brow, knuckle dragging idiot that has trouble finding the door to his home. Somehow I have managed to pass through several decades successfully. Try something new; this is a very old and tied message.

WOW what a difference this makes. The cleaning power of the Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPac is so much better than the previous cleaner I was using in my dishwasher that I am no longer planing to replace it with a new one because it didn't use to clean the dishes like it does now. I can now put dirtier dishes in the dishwasher and they come out cleaner than before I started to use Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs. WOW what a difference this makes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always used Cascade. Nothing cleans better. We have sulfur water, water softner, and peroxide system to kill the sulfur. Cascade works excellent with our system. Our dishwasher is old, but still works well, and using Cascade, we never have a problem of the dishes not getting clean. I've tried other brands and they do 'OK', but I always go back to Cascade as I never have to guess if the dishes got clean.

Then I switched to the new Cascade Complete and made sure I had really hot water. Now everything is really clean. Much less messy than the powder and gel. I'll never go back to them!
