I was having a problem with my glassware dulling to the extent I went out and bought new glasses just for guests' use. After a vacation at the beach I had leftover action pacs, which are great for travel by the way, so decided to use up the remainder here at home - Magically my glasses that were foggy cleared up over a couple washes - had I known I would have saved the money for new glasses! I had never bought the packs before due to the extra cost, but now I am sold. One thing I don't understand, I used cascade granules and also the rinse additive and it didn't help - why is that, isn't that the contents of the action packs? Was it the amounts I used?

The ActionPacs make it easy to use and my dishes seem cleaner and the glassware shines. I am so glad I changed.

Hate the way you have to open the package. The concept is good but I can never open it without a fight. The tabs break or the lid breaks. Please fix the packaging. The product is great. I will continue to buy this product and I will start using pliers to open it if you don't redesign the package.

We have use the cascade packs for 4-5 years and the last few boxes have not rinsed well at all. I first noticed this on my baby's bottles. After washing they all smelled of the cascade detergent and have been running a second rinse cycle to ensure that there are no traces of residue leftover. Even if dishwasher is run on sanitize(high heat) the packes still do not rinse 100% all the time. Terribl product. I understand that there may be some changes in formulation due to recent legislation banning phosphates in certain states, however it is still very surpising that Cascade would push a clearly inferior product.

We did our the kitchen over and bought all top rated appliances. Cost was not a problem. Our dishwasher was well over $1000.00 installed. From day one, I HATED it. Nothing looked clean. Food particles were stuck on everything. It was a disaster. I had to soak my dishes, glassware and silver over night in hot soapy water then, in the morning, load them into the dishwasher and turn it on immediately. There were always a few things that still had food attached! I could not afford to purchase a new dishwasher so I felt trapped. God Bless my daughter in law. She came to the rescue. I was telling her about my problem. She told me she had just tried a new Cascade product and it was wonderful. Since I had only used Cascade powder ever, I was a non believer. I saw this "new produce" in the store and decided to give it a chance. WOW am I ever a happy camper. It is wonderful. I now love my expensive dishwasher because with the complete packets, it works like a charm!!!!!!!

My glasses have been ruined. I cannot get the cloudy white residue off of them. I even spent money on a new dishwasher rack and have used dishwasher cleaners to no avail. I would have cleaner, more sparkling glasses if I did them by hand. I do not like this product any more.

Since money is somewhat tight these days, I thought I would buy a generic brand of dishwasher detergent. "It will probably do the job just as well as Cascade," I thought to myself. I could not have been more wrong. I had to run my dishwasher at least twice before my dishes came close to being clean. That was after I had practically washed them clean in the sink first! In the long run I ended up spending much more in time, money and electricity by using the generic brand. I have learned my lesson and gone back to Cascade. I recently installed a new Bosch dishwasher, and was pleased with its cleaning except for the silverware--the silverware had a film on it and didn't look clean. I had to rinse, re-dry by hand, spoons and knives. The glasses were okay but nothing great. Then I decided to try Cascade Complete all-in-one based on the recommendation of a leading consumer magazine and the results are fantastic! Silverware is clean and glasses sparkle. Excellent!
