The blue/green product often leaves a powdery film on the dishes, and it has ruined several pieces of lucite (clear plastic) that I own. Previously I had used the yellow/orance packets and they worked fine. I believe there should be a warning about this. I have two Tupperware bowls that are part lucite and were expensive and they are ruined by this product. It has also ruined two pitchers and some glasses.

It is the only dishwasher product I will use I have tried several other brands, but nothing compares to the sparkling results I get with Cascade Platinum. My dishes , pots and pans and glassware come out squeaky clean. The best there is on the market and reasonably priced too.

Cascade Platinum is the only dishwasher detergent that dioes not leave a line of greasy plaque along the bottom of the door where hinge meets dishwasher vault bottom. Things come out sparkling clean. We use both sterling and stainless flatware, and I put both in the dishwasher with Cascade Platinum. No damage, no erosion, no etching. And by the ;way, I do not detect any scent/fragrance whatsoever. Will use nothing else.

I'm now running my dishwasher for the 3rd time since I've had 2 run-throughs with cascade action pacs that didn't dissolve. I'm using a finish power ball this time!! This isn't the first time this has happened & I'm throwing away the 20+ action pacs I have left. That's lost money plus all the water I've wasted having to rerun the dishwasher each time this happens.

I recently moved into an apartment that had a new dishwasher and I thought I would have no trouble getting my dishes clean. That was not the case! I was tired of always having to pre wash my dishes before putting them into the dishwasher & then when getting them out I would have to re wash some. I finally broke down & got the Cascade Platnium Pacs & haven't looked back since! These are a gift sent from the heavens! I don't have to pre wash or re wash. I have recommended these to everyone I know & even to those I don't know in the store. I love these so much!!

I just love these little things! I won't buy anything else. I don't have to rinse off my dishes or scrub things off of them before putting them in the dishwasher. I will make my own laundry detergent, and someone told me to make my own version of these but I could never do that, I love them too much! And it's really simple for the kids to do the dishes because it's already measured out in the packet perfectly! They smell wonderful while the dishwasher is running, as well.

I bought the product because it made it simple to wash dishes in the dishwasher. After the 1st load I've had a couple where the package would not open and I would run the washer for no reason. I figured it was just a dud or bad egg as you can say. So I tried another and it worked fine. So as I continued to use I found that there were more duds. I just recently went through 3 w/o them working properly. So I've decided to go back to liquid.
