I can fill her dishwasher with the nastiest mess of dishes, pop in an action pac, set it and walk away. Two hours later, I come back to sparkling clean, dry dishes -- every time!

After having a sample pack of this I knew this was my brand what I had been searching for! My dishes are sparkling clean again and no water spots!

I have always bought the Cascade tablets for our dishwasher and I've always been happy with them; however, last time I went shopping I accidentally bought Cascade Complete instead. My dishes were NEVER clean! That had a sticky, filmy reside on them and at times they were still covered in food. At first I thought it had something to do with the way the dishwasher was loaded (our teenager fills the dishwasher) so I began rinsing and filling it, and the problem persisted. EVERY load had to be washed SEVERAL times and some even washed by hand. These were a waste of money (2-3 tablets for one load plus the cost of running the dishwasher)! I will continue to use their regular tablets, but never again will I buy the Complete version! Just plain awful!

I tried switching to a couple of different products, but still the lip balm remained. Then I tried Cascade Platinum and no more problems at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ Dishwasher Detergent is the best dishwasher detergent, period. Dishes come out sparkling clean, with no residue or food left behind. The scent is pleasant, but not overpowering like some I've tried. Yes, it costs more, but it's worth every penny.

We have very hard water with iron in it. The only product that gets the dishes clean is the Cascade Complete with bleach and Hydroaction in the GEL. Be sure you only buy the gel. The store was out of the gel one time, so I tried the powder and it is terrible!!!! it left all the plastic and glass with a white smokey looking film and we could not get it off!!! It ruined all my plastic containers and cups. I will never buy the powder again, but the gel is the Best

I have been using Cascade Platinum for about six months. I don't rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and yet the come out sparkling clean. More importantly my glasses never have a dull film. Even pots and pans come out amazingly clean. Won't use anything else.

My son would forget to rinse his dishes before placing them in the dishwasher...this sometimes (okay, always) caused the need for a second washing for some dishes. Not with Cascade Complete, always clean the first time.
