We have very hard water with iron in it. The only product that gets the dishes clean is the Cascade Complete with bleach and Hydroaction in the GEL. Be sure you only buy the gel. The store was out of the gel one time, so I tried the powder and it is terrible!!!! it left all the plastic and glass with a white smokey looking film and we could not get it off!!! It ruined all my plastic containers and cups. I will never buy the powder again, but the gel is the Best

I have been using Cascade Platinum for about six months. I don't rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and yet the come out sparkling clean. More importantly my glasses never have a dull film. Even pots and pans come out amazingly clean. Won't use anything else.

My son would forget to rinse his dishes before placing them in the dishwasher...this sometimes (okay, always) caused the need for a second washing for some dishes. Not with Cascade Complete, always clean the first time.

I have the worst dishwasher in a brand new apartment. I tried different brands and types but when I found the Action Packs my dishes actually started looking clean! I miss my dishwasher from our house but the with the ease of apt. life and Cascade Action Packs I'm good to go!

Cascade platinum seems to be a all encompassing solution to clean dirty, dried on food, unrinsed dishes. We have a JennAir dishwasher which also does an excellent job in tandem with Cascade platinum actionpacs.

I picked up some Cascade actionpacs after being a little frustrated with our past dishwashing detergent. I am going to school full time and working, so the less I have to wash dishes after dinner the better. I have been amazed at how well these actionpacs work!!! I put in a lasagna pan the other night, which I usually have to scrub and let soak for a long time, BUT not this time! I put the pan in the dishwasher with the Cascade actionpacs and WOW! Nothing was left on my pan. I will keep buying Cascade, and you should too!

I have been a faithful Cascade user for years. However, the new Cascade Complete (powder) is one of the the worse products I have ever used. It leaves a chalky substance on almost every thing. At first I thought it might be my water but I have a very sophisticated water filtering system. Then I thought it might be my dishwasher but it is fairly new and I never encountered the problem with the old "regular" Cascade. I have now switched to a "green" gel that leaves every thing clean and chalk-free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product gets stuck on food off dishes. Food that has sat for a few days comes off with not a second thought. I LOVE this product. I would tell people GET IT! USE IT! You got Clean dishes and you wont have to think twice or clean twice.

Not only does Cascade ActionPacs do a superior job, but the plastic containers can be used to store things like flower and sugar in the deep freeze. Since I an retired, I count every penny and the plastic containers work much better that bags to store flower and sugar in my deep freeze!!!!
