I've been a Cascade user for over 30 years but not anymore. Your phosphate free formula DOES NOT WORK!!! It is destroying all my dishes, glasses and flatware leaving a heavy white film that is almost impossible to remove. I have a very high end machine and I do not have hard water so your suggestions and explainations about how to rectify are not correct. This new formulation simply DOES NOT WORK!! I will never buy this product again unless the old formulation is again available.

I bought the Cascade Complete packs after the claims made in the current TV commercial - OOPS! I've tried the packs three times and they don't dissolve. I even tried setting my hot water heater to the highest temperature, thinking that perhaps they needed extremely hot water to work - no such luck. Instead, a half-dissolved goopy mess is left at the bottom of my dishwasher. I will not buy the product again.

While I appreciate the convenience and results of a clean load, I am writing to complain about the smell of Cascade w/ scent of GAIN. I can't believe anyone would want to smell detergent when eating or drinking. My 94 year old mother first noticed the smell, and you would think an older person's olafactory sense would be less sharp! I will return to the liquid product before I use a product with this much unnecessary odor. Please remove the smell or I will not buy this again.

I was using a different brand, but my glasses kept getting cloudier and cloudier, also I had to pre-rinse the dishes. I knew there had to be something better out there... and I found it in Cascade Complete Pacs ! WOW !! My dishes are now super clean without pre-rinsing, the glasses look like new and the silverware is spotless !

This dish detergent is the worst stuff I have ever used. I have had to throw away all of my plastic storage containers because they smelled like Gain. They even made my food that had been stored in them taste like the smell of Gain. Unfortunetly I had thrown the packaging away before I realized this and could not apply for a refund. I had refilled my 60 pac Cascade canister and that is why I felt safe throwing away the refill pkg (your idea). Of course I threw away all of the pacs that were not used. How could you even think of doing such an awful thing! I can't wait to see if you add this review to your site.

I have been a cascade complete user since they came out with it. Love it. I did try the other brand, you know the one with the red dot in the middle. worst mistake, only used two and gave the rest away. Went back to cascade complete. Didnt think I would ever change again. Wrong, along comes cascade complete platnium, OMG the first one I used and opened my dishwasher I just couldnt believe the results, My dishes had such a shine, even better than from the cascade complete. I dont know how it can be possible but WOW love love love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite our water heaters being set at "very hot", the packets don't always dissolve. Nothing else is drawing on hot water. I no longer store the packets under the kitchen sink; indeed, I keep only a few packets at a time in the kitchen.

The pacs dont dissolve. I keep trying and they just won't which means I'm having to run my dishwasher 2-3 times for one load. It was a waste of money from buying the pacs and from having to re-run my dishwasher. I guess I should've bought a small pack of them before I wasted the money for a box of them that I can't use.

We have used Cascade for years. We recently purchased the new and improved and are totally disappointed. We washed two loads of dishes and every glass product had a film, which has been extremely difficult to get off by hand. Even the plates and silverware have a film. We changed nothing except using the 'new and imporved' Cascade. If this is occurring to others be prepared for a large market loss.

I used the product exactly as directed. My dishwasher is a Maytag and just a few months old. I found the product mostly undissolved and stuck to a knife in the silverware basket. Not exactly what I expected. I would say about 1/10 of the product had dissolved. I don't know how it is expected to work if it doesn't dissolve.
