I use this to not only get the cleanest dishes but also because it dissolves grease in the dishwasher thoroughly to prevent buildup not just in the machine but in my kitchen pipes. I once tried an eco friendly product for six months and I ended up having to call the plumber to unclog the kitchen pipes. He flat out told me it was grease. . I never pour grease down the drain. I realized that it was the Cascade Platinum that had kept the pipes grease free. I'll always use this product!

I have used Cascade for years with excellent results. Unfortunately the new phosphate free product is very inferior in cleaning, My silverware came out spot free with the previous phosphate product. Now it comes out with white smudges. Some of my dishes are NOT clean with the new product. I have a high end GE monogram dishwasher less than two years old and was extremely satisfied with its performance UNTIL I washed a few loads the new phosphate free product product.

I bought Cascade powder specifically because of the review on TV saying that it would get cloudy glasses clean. I have used it daily for about 10 days. The glasses have not cleared up. I filled both cups with the powder. I feel that the ad is bogus. I could have continue to use my store brand, which cleans just fine.

I have been using Cascade Action Pacs since they came out. I wouldn't dream of using anything else. My glasses, especially my wine glasses, just sparkle. I feel confident that my dishes will be clean, clean, clean!! The ease of use of this product is a definite plus. Thanks for such a great product.

Terrible product. Glasses spotted, film on everything. Complete waste of money as we have become frustrated with this product and tossed it out. We have tried "Finish" and are satisfied, but wish Cascade made a convenient tablet or pouch that actually worked as advertised.

When I lived in my house and had a soft water system, I was using the standard Cascade dishwasher powder. My dishes were spotless and always like new. Last year I moved into an apartment where the water was moderately hard and the hot water going into the dishwasher was not hot enough according to specs. My beautiful dishes/glassware were terribly spotted/streaked, and plasticware was coated with mineral deposits. During that time, I had 2 dishwashers replaced and tried multiple detergents (all Cascade brands): powder, gel, powder with Lemi-Shine (all types always in conjunction with Jet Dry). After the most recent dishwasher was replaced due to water not fully draining out after the final cycle, I started using Cascade Complete pacs (my neighbor gave me one to try). I was amazed. My dishes and glassware are back to near perfect again. Thanks to P&G for making such a great variety of products for all types of conditions!

We recently purchased the new Cascade Extra Action with Dawn for our dishwasher. It leaves a crusty white coating inside the dishwasher and on the dishes. They do not rinse clean. We have good water, and have never had any issues with the older Cascade products. The EPA needs to send someone out here every morning to wipe this white film off my dishes! I purchased Cascade Extra Action shine shield formula. After using just 1/4 of the box over several months it has eaten the black handles off my pots and pans, tarnished the chrome finish on others and taken the finish off my aluminum utensils turning them black. Do not plan to ever purchase this item again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product creates too much suds. It was causing my dishwasher to leak from the suds level. I replaced the door gasket thinking it was the gasket. Rearranged the dishes. Same result. Then I redid a load that leaked and did not use any detergent. No leaks. I then ran a load with a different Cascade product, the powder. No leaks. Cascade Platinum was the culprit.

I bought this thinking that it would be a lot better than Finish gel packs, but I was wrong. I should've sticked to Finish. The Cascade All-in-1 ActionPacs are horrible when it comes to my dishes. It left white residues on my pots and pans and nylon cooking utensils. Today, was the worst because now it's no longer a white residue, but one of the pan was covered in chaulked white, from inside and out. I wanted to stick to this product, but after trying it for few days, it seems to go far much worst. I'm very dissatisfied with this product. I've been using Cascade products and this by far is the worst.
