I purchased a 75 oz box of CoCascade Complete All in 1 dishwasher soap. I've had all kinds of problems with this. Dishes are coming out coated with a film. Glasses and silverware are coated with a hard white film that cannot be cleaned in soapy water. I had to soak in a vinegar and water solution. At first I only filled the main wash cup with a little bit of powder. The second time I used the dishwasher, I filled both the pre-wash and the main wash cups completely. Then I thought maybe it was my dishwasher, so I ran a cup of vinegar in my empty dishwasher to clean. Every time I use this dishwasher soap, the dishes are all coated with a white film. I have read the reviews and everyone seems to love it. What am I doing wrong.?????

I just want to stress how clean this product get the dishes and how quickly. I went from running my dishwasher on the HIGHEST HEAT, LONGEST CYCLE, and HEAT DRY after all ready basically washing them in the sink....to the SHORTEST CYCLE, LOWEST WATER TEMP and AIR DRY. Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Saving me money on my electric bills, helping the environment by not wasting energy and my dishes look fabulous!!! What more could you want. By the way, I am using a 9 year old dishwasher, nothing fancy. It's the PRODUCT, don't wast your money on an expensive machine, just use Cascade Complete ALL in 1 and you are good to go!!!!

Going to the store today to find a new product! I have now washed the load that is currently in my dishwasher 6 times! My soap well door is opening but the pac is not going anywhere just staying in the well. I have talked to 2 other people that the pacs do the same in their dishwasher. Thanks for nothing but wasting my money cascade!

Ever since Cascade changed their formula a couple of years ago, my dishes look terrible and the inside of my dishwasher has mineral deposits everywhere. Before I knew about the formula change, I actually purchased a new dishwasher thinking something was wrong with my old one. The new dishwasher is only a year old and it's the same issue; dirty looking glasses and mineral deposits everywhere. I have tried all of their products; powder, liquid and action pacs and none of them work. This is particularly true if you live in an area with hard water. Cascade used to be the BEST! Now it gives results comparable to a bargain brand. I'm told the only solution now is to buy a water softener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With no other soap on dishes, the product produced so many suds that they ran out on the floor causing a mess. I had to do two extra rinses to get rid of them. It had to be from the product and other detergent pods produced no leakage or extra suds. This product is faulty. I also found the scent unwanted because it was too strong and lingering. I do not welcome scents on dishes.

i was very disappointed with the product. I ran the dishwasher twice and finally just broke the little package open. It kinda opened a little bit the second time but it was still all together. I do not believe I will ever try this again. I though being cascade it would be good (it looked like a good idea) but I obviously was wrong.

So I buy a 110 pack "Cascade Extra Action" for the dishwasher. The first few times I used Cascade the dishes came out terrific! However now they have this dusgusting white film over everything! To the effect - I can't scrub, soak or magic eraser the white film off! I've tried vinegar, Power Degreaser, Kaboom with no results! Who has an address so I can send this junk back to the company! So incredibly disappointed! I've used so many types of Cascade before I thought this looked like a great alternative - everything in one packet! Sorry Cascade - Fail!

I received a packet of Cascade Complete with my new dishwasher. I'm so upset that my newish pots and pans have white stains all over the outside finish. I have not been able to clean it off. These are not a cheesy brand of cookware. How can I restore the dark finish to my beautiful pans? I have put these pans in the dishwasher prior to using Cascade Complete and nothing like this ever happened.

Another warning to STAY AWAY from the current version of this product. I had the gel in the citrus scent. It ruined all of my plasticware - I just tossed more than a dozen plastic tupperware type containers in the trash because all of my food tastes and smells like soap - ESPECIALLY if you reheat in the container. Hoping that washing with a new detergent will save some of my nicer plastic and silicon utensils. I used to use store brand gels and decided to try a brand like Cascade. Backfired on me! My entire kitchen reeks of this detergent (which by the way bares little resemblance citrus) long after the last wash cycle was run. After a few washes and realizing what was happening to my dishes, I threw out the rest.

I have used Cascade and loved it for so very many years, that I now just don't know what to do. The liquid dish detergent just does not get my glasses shining or dishes clean, especially on the top shelf of the DW. It seems I have to re-wash everything by hand, so why bother with a dishwasher. Can you get a lobbyist to help you out of the phosphate bind you are in? One needs to ask if it is worth using far more water to clean dishes than some phosphate. In my dry climate, I vote for phosphate, as water is a precious resource. I sure don't want my dishwasher to become obsolete. I have stood by your product for so many years, that I cannot imagine it doesn't work anymore. I'm so sorry.
