I've been a very loyal fan of Cascade Action Pac dishwashing sachets for a number of years - I loved them! I don't know what's happened but the product in the tub of 115 Action Pac Cascade sachets I've been using over the last few months just isn't cleaning my dishes properly - the glassware and cutlery come out looking dull and with water spots rather than sparkling clean like they used to. I'm one of those people who rinses the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. My dishwasher has been checked out and it's working well. Has Proctor & Gamble changed this dishwasher detergent product's formula? In the meantime, I bought a tub of 'Finish' Powerball sachets to try out....to see if it gives me back sparkling clean dishes.

Our dishwasher is 10 years old. We have well water so there are trace elements in it and lime scale builds up. I'm a dedicated penny pincher so I've tried all kinds of dish detergents. Cascade Platinum is the only one that consistently gets everything in my dishwasher clean!! I have only to switch to another brand and a couple of washes later, I see grease and food left on the dishes on the top rack. Switch back to Cascade Platinum and it goes back to clean!

The new formulas brought disasterous results both in Cascaade complete and the lime green box of Cascade with dawn. Use Dawn for hand washed dishes and never a problem, but what a shock with Cascade! My only change is the Cascade formulas. Cascade discolored my cookware badly and left a filmy grit on everything. Bad enough to have to wash them by hand to get rid of the residue, but it took several rounds of scrubging and polishing the pans to remove the tarnished stain in order to make them decent looking again. Gave Cascade complete away, and threw out the lime green box now that I'm certain the Cascade caused the horrible results. Sure wish Cascade would bring back the old formula, but I'll just have to find another product that doesn't cause me hours of scubbing to remove the blackened stains from pans.

I have used the ActionPacs with dawn for about a year and have had good results. The last package I bought is a big disappointment. The pacs leave a filmy residue that has ruined my black plasticware (spoons, ladel, spatula, etc) as well as the handle on my knives and any other plastic that goes into the dishwasher. I don't know if they changed the formula, but something is wrong. I never had this problem before this package bought last month. I won't be buying this product again.

I am a dishwasher nerd. I've tried every type of dishwasher detergent out there from every brand and every style whether it's gel pack powder… Something about this product is different from even other products in the cascade line. The platinum product is the only one I trust to completely remove all types of food residue the first time. My entire Thanksgiving dinner went into the dishwasher with food bits of chicken potatoes vegetables, forks with bits of corn, glassware, too! Trust me – the dishwasher nerd — this product will not let you down and it is worth the extra spend. Here's a tip though, if you have a compact dishwasher you're going to need to run it twice :-) I really wish Cascade made the same product, but for compact countertop dishwashers.

After many months of rewashing dishes and silverware, I have finally found something that does the job. It is Cascade Complete. These little gel packs are so easy to use and leave everything nice and clean. No more film on the glasses. I will be a Cascade Complete customer from now on. Thanks for making such a great product.

I bought cascade dishwasher detergent with gain thinking it was going to smell good and work good as well. The first time I used it, there was a whole bunch of food still on the dishes. So I figured they probably weren't rinsed that well but no the next time I used it same thing. I had to literally wash ALL of my dishes over again because they were not clean. I am very upset over this and do not recommend this product nor any of the other cascade products to anyone.

Up until recently I had always been a satisfied Cascade user. I thought my new dishwasher was malfunctioning. My dishes are no longer clean, my flatware has to be rewashed, my flatware has staining both white and rust colored, my glasses are not clear. I am very unhappy with your product. I have researched and have switched to Finish Powerballs.

i am letting everybody know not to buy these cascade action packs. i bought a tub of them at my local store and had to stop using them. the little plastic pouch that holds the cleaning agent does not disolve completly and plugs the nozzles in the rotating spray bars.

I have enjoyed using the Cascade Complete products and thought I would try the Cascade Complete in Citrus Breeze Scent...WRONG thing to do!! I started noticing that my food tasted like soap, the plastic baby bottles and containers were turning orange! VERY UNHAPPY with this product! I will still use the Cascade Complete, but NEVER the Citrus Breeze Scent!! I mentioned it to my daughter and she too had the same thing happen....what a shame because usually it is nice to get the citrus smell.
