Does NOT work

The ActionPacs will not work in my top line KitchenAid Dishwasher. They are too thick and jam the detergent dispenser door. Even with using dry hands as recommended, and drying out the dispenser, these jam 100% of the time. I have to wait until in the wash cycle, open the dishwasher then open the dispenser manually. What a pain!

Film on dishes

Proctor & Gamble says if we are having trouble with film on our dishes, It is because of hard water...NOT. We have a water softener. It is never out of salt. We sold Culligan Water Softeners for many years as well as G.E. appliances. We know all of the things to check! I am here to tell you that we have film from this new soap. It is terrible and I am ashamed of my glasses. I should not have to purchase another product to get my dishes clean. I have a brand new 75 oz. box which is going into the garbage. I have used Cascade for many years and hate to see it go, but that is just the way it is.

Washing machine damage from Cascade Complete

I have been using your product, Cascade Complete, for about two weeks. Yesterday, I notice my dishwasher was draining very slow and not draining completely. When I took part of the interior drain system, I found what looked like clear and blue colored gummy strips of very thin pieces of gummy residue/plastic. When I compared the strips to your product, I saw they were undissolved sections of the detergent's coating. Since we had recently changed to your product, I became very skeptical that all of the product would dissolve. To test this objectively, I placed two squares of Cascade Complete in a cup of hot water and let them set overnight. This morning, I saw that they had degraded but not completely dissolved, leaving the plastic-like residue just like the pieces I removed from the washer. Since I cannot find your email address, this venue will have to do.

I can't drink out of my coffee cups because they smell like soap.

I don't know what you changed, but soap sticks on my glasses and anything plastic that I put in the dishwasher. I thought my dishwasher didn't rinse and I ran everything through again, but the dishes still smelled like soap. I will go back to the old liquid instead of the new pouches.

Product did not clean because it was crstallized

I have always used Cascade until this summer a bought a bottle of liquid Cascade. It was crystallized and would not mix together even with violent shaking. I decided to give it another try because of loyalty if nothing else but the next bottle was the same. Dishes did not come out clean but with a cloudy look to the glasses.

Mind BLOWN, really though! :)

Oh My Goodness, so I've never believed in just throwing the dishes in the dish washer. Normally I scrub the food off and rinse before loading. Recently, my husband wanted to help me by doing the dishes and he just threw them all into the dish washer (as is). My Imediate reaction was to stop the dish washer and ask him why he would just thrown them in, but I waited and thanked him for the oh so needed help ( we have a very demanding one year old). When I started to unload them, I couldn't believe they were so clean and spotless. This is a great product for when you're in a hurry to get things done. It works hard for you, so you don't have to.

I have been using Cascade for years...and loved it! You changed your product...I didnt know it. And when the dishes, glasses, utensils came out cloudy, I thought it was my dishwasher. So, I bought a new one! OMG...its your disguesting product. I will never use it again...and will tell everyone, not to use cascade every again. YOU HAVE RUINED ALL OF MY DISHES, AND GLASSES.

Film

I have been using Cascade for a very long time. Never having any problems. Just recently I have noticed a white film on my dishes. Has anyone else had this problem? Is Cascade using different ingredients? I am not a very happy person at the moment as my new purple dishes have this white film. I have switched to another product.

Sick and tired of rewashing dishes!

I am so frustrated that my dishes, especially my once CLEAR glasses are gross to use unless I rewash them by hand. I have used the Cascade Complete pacs in combination with rinse aid and being certain that the washer is loaded properly and I run Hot water before I start my washer. Please bring back phosphates or reformulate! This needs to be changed!

Cascade Platinum ActionPacs causing discoloration

I put my Revere Ware pots in our dishwasher and used the Cascade Platinum pods. The copper bottoms of the pots turned gray, which I couldn't scrub back to their original color. I went back to using Cascade Complete pods and the original copper color returned. I also washed some sterling silver utensils with the Platinum pods and they ended up discolored as well. Required cleaning with silver polish to remove the discoloration. Again, using the Cascade Complete pods did not cause any discoloration to the silver pieces.
