I love these. I did them in a trial last year and have been waiting for them to come out onto the market. No more prewash. Cleaned even my chilie pot without presoak. Glasses come out clean and spot free. The only thing I still use it the Crystal clear for a added buster nice i dry without the heated dry.

We have the complete gel and have used about 1/3 of the bottle and have to toss it (I would rather return it) Cannot get the taste off of the dishes. Plastics are worst followed by non-stick pans, but everything tastes and smells of the citrus-y adders. Not surprizing, I also find this to be an issue with Dawn dish soap. Stopped using that 20 years ago. You now take credit for combining. I have a brand new high end dishwasher. Have tried lowering the amount of detergent to less than half of the bin, but it does not have much of a positive effect. It ran well with a different brand. FWIW, we have used Cascade Gels for years. This product looks appealing, but can't deal with it.

Since the whole phosphate-free move happened a few years ago, this product has not been the same. Only half the dishes in the dishwasher ever come out clean anymore. We've resorted to washing all the glasses by hand just so we don't have to rewash them once the dishwashing cycle is complete. It's become double the work. A lot of the utensils are the same way with stuck on food. Whether the dishwasher is full or not is not a factor. It's a shame. This used to be a good product.

We purchased a new dishwasher, it came with two of these pods. It also mentions that this product received a Good Housekeeping seal. The fist pod ruined the finish on our stainless steel cheese grater. When we ran the dishwasher with the second pod it started to do the same thing to our stainless flatware. We have never had any problems whatsoever with other dishwasher detergent products. We are quite upset about it. I have contacted them directly to figure out why this happened. Three sides of the grater are abraded, the fourth side is still okay.

Wow - New Year's morning and my first cup of coffee tastes like Gain. Yum. I bought Cascade Dishwasher Detergent last month and used it for the first time on Dec. 31. I (unfortunately) put my coffee carafe in the dishwasher. (I do this on a regular basis.) This morning (Jan. 1), I made a pot of coffee with my usual coffee beans and it tasted HORRIBLE!! I dumped the coffee out, much to my dismay as the beans are expensive, thoroughly rinsed the carafe and all other parts, and remade my coffee. It still tasted like soap. I will never purchase this product again and would suggest that P&G look into this problem. Why do people want their dishes smelling so strongly of soap? Marketing gimmick? I think so.

I have used Cascade Extra Action powder for years then suddenly a film started developing on my dishes. I switched over to Cascade Complete ActionPaks. It leaves the dishes cleam but the actionpaks leave a chemical scent on my dishes and my plastics absorbed the scent so I had to wash them by hand. I am switching over to another dishwasher product at this time.

I knew that the phosphates were being taken out of dishwasher detergents, but the change in my Cascade Action Pacs is worse than I imagined it would be. Everything has a gritty coating on it and has to be rinsed off after going through the dishwasher. The black handles on my steak knives turned gray after one washing. The racks on my dishwasher are now squeaking and sticking when I try to roll them out, and the stainless steel interior of my dishwasher looks terrible for the first time in the five years we've had it. Other than searching other stores hoping to find older stock, I guess it's time to switch detergents.

We always have used cascade, until recently. We have been noticing a milky film and buildup in or dishes and dishwasher over the last 6 months or so. We have had our machine checked, and have been told that the formula has been changed and everybody has been experiencing the same problems. We started wiping off the dishes before putting in the dishwasher,and sometimes running a load twice, to no avail. We finally decided to save the money and handwash instead.

I have been watching the commercials that show a man and wife arguing over whether a cupcake tin needs to be soaked before putting in the dishwasher. My experiences are different, I have a new dishwasher and use the potscrubber cycle and Cascade leaves cooked on residue on cookie sheets and crockpot ceramic dishes. Also have to rinse the dishes coming out of the dishwasher due to spots. I can send a photo if you like. Thanks

After reading the great reviews posted, I decided to try out the Cascade Action Pacs. I am very disappointed. Although my dishes are clean, there is a white film that is left all over my cups and dishes. I have used the Cascade powder for years and have never had this problem. Unfortunately, I didn't keep my receipt so I can't get my money back. I will stick to the powder form.
