Not for hard water

Action pacs are not working for my dishwasher. I have hard water and one pac does not clean thoroughly. I was told by P&G agent NOT to use two pacs. Light browns stains remain in dishwasher and on dishes, though I rinse prior to loading. I even compensate by putting LESS dishes in racks and check for proper loading. Rather defeating purpose of dishwasher, it seems to me. Still having problems...that I did not have with Cascade powder. So it is back to powder for me.

Bizarre smell/taste on dishes after using

I have used "Finish" for quite a while now - my dishes are always clean and just great. I decided to try buying Cascade. After one wash, I noticed my dishes (glasses in particular) had a bad smell and affected the taste of food/drink (especially water). I bought Finish again, and my dishes smell and taste perfect again. Now my only debate is whether or not to throw out the full container of Cascade, or see if I can donate it to a shelter/soup kitchen (which may not be a good deed if it's going to make their food smell/taste terrible too).

No phosphate-no good

I have a brand new dishwasher. I have had the manufacturer out two times to check the machine because there is still food left on my dishes. I have always used Cascade before and have been more than pleased until the phosphate has been removed. I am SO tired of having to wash my dishes by hand and put citric acid into my dishwasher all of the time! Please reformulate or let me know where to buy the old school Cascade Dishwasher Detergent!

Idea is great but it only works half the time

Several times that I have used this product it has failed to open all the way when I put them in my dishwasher. When I open up the dishwasher after a cycle the pac is only partially used. I find this very annoying because I then have to use another Pac and rerun the dishwasher costing me money and time. I really like the idea behind this product but it really is upsetting when it doesn't work.

Lavender scent is disgusting.

I've been using Cascade complete tabs for years now and have been happy with it. We recently purchased a large tub of the lavender scented ones. The smell is horrible, it makes your dishes smell like laundry. The worst part is when I eat off the dishes and my food tastes of lavender. It's ruined many meals. I won't be purchasing it again.

Removed finish on dishes

Using the gel pack for the dishwasher has removed the finish on some Fire King bowls I have and some glassware with patterns on them. I have had them for years and have always put them in the dishwasher and just started coming off when I switched to Cascade. Dishes were clean, just a tad too clean!

Product clumped up, doesn't dissolve in dishwasher

Wish I could post pictures of my problem with this, I brought the cascade action packs 4x concentrate with dawn orange, from the local store and it clumped up in the dishwasher, after review, I noticed that the dawn had bled into the cascade detergent causing the product to become hard as a rock and not dissolving, thus leaving me with a product that I cannot use unless I break it up before I put it in the dishwasher

terrible

I bought the cascade action pacs because there were very few bottles of dishwashing liquid left on the shelf, and lots of tubs of these various gel pacs. I thought, new technology, might work better. I am very disappointed in this product. I tried it twice, and both times it left a white film on the silverware and glasses. It also did not clean nearly as well as the liquid detergent. I will be sending in the UPC code for a refund. This is a terrible product. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This product is leaving a white film on my dishes.

This product along with cascade complete is leaving a white film on my dishes. I have used Cascade for years and it has never done this before. I am wondering if the product has been altered to meet environmental rules for California. If so, has it been altered for Nevada? I wil shop there for the old Cascade if it is available.

New Fomulation Does not Clean and Leaves Deposits

Ever since the elimination of phosphates Cascades does not clean as well and leaves a white deposit on the dishes. Went back to an old box of Cascade I had left over and behold, clean dishes. They were clean with no white deposits. I know this is due to EPA regulations but please, P&G there has to be a better way. I'll continue to use the old formula until I run out.
