I love Cascade in general, and this was a great bargain. However, all 3 times that I've run my dishwasher the compartment did not open due to the bulkiness of the packet. I've used other dishwasher packets with no problem, so I'm assuming the addition of the orange swirl is not dissolving or expanding so the door of the dishwasher compartment can't open. I'm no manufacturing or packaging expert, but I would evaluate the thickness of the film (i.e. so the packet can open/dissolve more quickly) and also the size in general. I have a full-size Kitchen Aide dishwasher. Best Regards from Chicago

i love Cascade, but the Cascade with Gain is awful! After about 5 or so wash loads my plastic type containers (microwave cover, coffee cups) started tasting like Gain. I have thrown the remainder of the bag away and purchased a different bag of Cascade.

Great product, love it.

This Advanced Power formula won't remove coffee rings on coffee cups or stains of any kind. If you want to wash your dishes by hand with soap and water, then put them in the dishwasher, this is the brand for you. I've even tried putting in 3 times the amount of soap the dispenser with horrible results. Our dishwasher runs every day (we are a big family) so nothing has a chance to dry hard on the dishes. It's just a bad product.

I have a brand new Whirlpool dishwasher. Used Complete with results: on eco cycle, doesn't clean at all, on normal cycle, it was laying at the bottom of the dishwasher at the end of the cycle, half dissolved-dishes not clean. Twice it actually dissolved. Not worth the powder to blow it up with.

We have used Cascade powder and gel for years and have always been happy with the results, so when the "Action Pacs" came along, we thought they would be just as good. Better in fact, because they use less soap. They're not better - not by a long shot. Our dishes came out either smudged or just not clean. Lots of food was left on the surface and silverware had to be rewashed. To make certain it wasn't our dishwasher, we went back to powder and the results are great. Sorry Cascade, we cannot and will not recommend.

Can you make something that does not have a scent??? I love the way my house smells when the dishwasher is running.....but I can no longer drink from my plastic cups because they smell and taste like perfume. My house smells just fine without the added scent.

After using only a few packs from a 90-pack bin, the next two packs didn't work at all. The coating came only partially off, so that they stuck to the soap compartment. They never fully dissolved, didn't clean my dishes, and left a gooey mess to clean up. After the first one failed, I cleaned everything up, dried out the compartment, and tried again. SAME results - a messy soap compartment and dirty dishes! After the second failure, I purchased another brand, and will NEVER buy Cascade again!

I have purchased Cascade with Grease fighting power of DAWN!!!! The last 4 times I have used this product, the pac stuck to the dispenser. When the cycle was completed, I open the door to find the pac still intact and the dishes not cleaned! I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend purchasing it or any pacs with plastic. When discussing this product with a friend, I come to find out the same thing happened to her as well. Very disappointed.

I'm sorry to say but this new formula is awful my dishes are still dirty even after 2 cycles on high temps & yes dishes were pre-rinsed - which I have to say defeats the purpose of "saving the environment" if I am wasting more water" Vinegar does not help, nor does baking soda. I guess I am back to the old fashioned was on doing dishes - by hand and wasting more water by the way!
