I purchase the Cascade Complete “All in 1” Citrus Breeze scent dishwashing detergent. It does clean the dishes well but I have a problem the fragrance scent. The fragrance attaches to the plastic glasses and storage containers. The drinks and food tastes like the fragrance scent from the detergent. I have had to toss some of the plastic drink ware because of the smell and taste of the drinks. I tried cleaning the drink ware with baking soda to remove the scent and that has helped but the scent is still on the plastic. I will not purchase this product again. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

GOOD

I have been using Cascade Complete ActionPacs since I first head about them and have LOVED them... until recently, the last 2 or 3 boxes (yes, I buy them by the box) that I purchased had subpar performance. They even look differently than they used to. I gave them another chance again and again and am just not getting the same results as before. What happened?

The product is Cascade Complete dishwasher detergent, Citrus Breeze Scent, although there isn't a category listed for it here. It claims to power away 24-hour stuck-on food. It doesn't even remove the tanin from mugs that were used that day and rinsed before putting in the dishwasher. I thought it must be the tea, and started bleaching them. Then I bought a different dishwasher detergent and threw this one away.

I have used Cascade products successfully for years but the last two Cascade products, Cascade Complete liquid and ActionPacs, I purchased have performed poorly. My teacups remain stained after a normal dishwasher cycle. I will not purchase this product in the future.

I have used "Finish" for quite a while now - my dishes are always clean and just great. I decided to try buying Cascade. After one wash, I noticed my dishes (glasses in particular) had a bad smell and affected the taste of food/drink (especially water). I bought Finish again, and my dishes smell and taste perfect again. Now my only debate is whether or not to throw out the full container of Cascade, or see if I can donate it to a shelter/soup kitchen (which may not be a good deed if it's going to make their food smell/taste terrible too).

Great

We buy coffee mugs at various sporting events. Cascade Complete liquid washed all the lettering and logos off our US Open golf mugs after only about 4 washes. We contacted USGA to see if it was their problem. Then we saw that all our commemorative mugs, even those we had successfully washed for 20 years were losing their designs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Items placed in dishwasher come out discolored with flat finish. Bake pans, measuring spoons, pot bottoms have been ruined.I have confirmed that your product is the problem. Utensils that have been used by generations wrecked by use of your latest. Fix this!

Good product
