We apologize for any confusion, Magic Erasers are designed to crumble and break down as they're used, much like a pencil eraser does! For best results, wet the pad with water before you use it, then squeeze out excess water rather than twisting the pad. If you're looking for more muscle in your eraser, check out our Extra Durable Magic Eraser! Its 50% stronger for heavy-duty cleaning. Please feel free to give us a call at (800) 248-1612 if you have any questions.
