It says to take Prilosec OTC every day for 14 days helps to ensure that acid production is consistently controlled. I felt so much better after day three I couldn’t believe it! I finished the 14-day treatment and felt like a new person. No more constant heartburn for me. I bought the 14 count size but, it comes in other size packages. I like that I take just one pill in the morning and my stomach feels better for 24 hours. The timed-release pill works very well for me. Prilosec OTC works differently than other products I’ve tried in that it shuts down the pumps in the stomach that create stomach acid. It stopped my heartburn in its tracks!
