[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I’ve gotten older, foods that I used to be able to eat without any issues now have a tendency to cause me heartburn. I would get a pain in my chest that would keep me up all night. I've tried pretty much everything and nothing really worked. The directions indicate it may take 1-4 days for full effect as it needs time to work. I actually felt better in a matter of hours! I didn’t expect anything would work that fast. It’s been a couple of days now and my heartburn is gone. The tablets are small and easy to swallow. This medication, allowed me to continue to enjoy the foods and drinks that had become my enemies.

Things that never bothered me before now have my stomach boiling just thinking about eating them. I have tried various thing both over the counter and prescription. By far, Prilosec OTC has been the best becasue I can take it to block heartburn and not have to wait until the heartburn kicks in!

Every night, I used to take Prilosec by prescription. It worked well. Kaiser HMO changed me to over the counter Prilosec. As long as I was taking the pills during the 14 days, I was fine.. Two days after that ended, my heart burn and sour stomach began again. I cannot wait 4 months to do it again. I need help now. So I got over the counter Prevacid and had the same results. I plan to go back to the doctor for help. Right now I just feel very frustrated and am not getting very good sleep at nights, getting up and down with pukey stuff in my mouth. This 14 day routine did not work for me.

I switched from other heartburn treatment brands due to Prilosec working better.I love the tablet form of Prilosec because it is easier to swallow and that it is a brand that is trusted by doctors.

It provides relief all day. This is my to go medicine to stop heartburn. Eating is my second hobby; but eating comes with percussions. Usually after having a tasty meal I would get heartburn, with Prilosec OTC it helps me reduce any flare ups and gives me relieve throughout the day. Using Prilosec is amazing and allows me to get going everyday.
