I bought this because i struggle a lot to fall asleep. I like this because is not strong enough to keep you inconscient-like during the night, it just helps you to fall asleep. This product combined with ear plugs = a really good night sleep!! In my case, I can sleep good if happens that I don't drink it one night, it doesn't mess your sleep and it doesn't makes you an addict to it.

The active ingredient is Diphenhydramine HCl, the antihistamine found in Benedryl. So it's great for allergies and knocks you out as promised. However, this 354 mL bottle costs almost $8. You can buy the Equate version of Benedryl (100 tablets) for $4 and you'll get over FOUR TIMES the amount of uses from it. The bottle holds about 24 25mg doses, whereas each tablet of Benedryl is 25mg of the same drug. That's makes liquid Zzzquil eight times more expensive than it needs to be. Granted, there are differences in how quickly it takes effect between liquid and tablet, but nothing a little foresight can't fix.

I have a lot of sleep problems and I don't like to take any one thing for too long. I also have absorption issues so I need something liquid or sublingual. This covers all the bases and works well and fasts. It doesn't taste bad, not great lol but not bad.

I was taking nyquil to fall asleep when I had trouble sleeping. Apparently there were a lot of other people doing the same thing. lol This works perfectly. Puts me to sleep. I sleep soundly and comfortably and there is no grogginess in the morning. I take about half the recommended dosage and still sleep great! Doesn't seem habit forming in the least.

This combo pack is an excellent choice to keep in your medicine cabinet. DayQuil works well to control runny nose, sinus congestion, aches & pains, sore throat and cough, and NyQuil is equally up to the task, but also helps you sleep, which is so often difficult with a cold. Both of these products work well and live up to the claims on the packaging. I will always keep them on hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting into the full swing of summer I tend to catch a cold here or there more often since we go from cold to extremely hot in no time living in the midwest. These capsules are easy to take and seem to work quickly. I do perfer the nighttime over the daytime but that's just my preference, I feel they help me more at night while I'm laying down then when I'm up and about doing stuff in the day. These have no taste and leave no after taste, I just take and can continue on with my day. These don't leave me feeling drowsy and I can take them and still function and do everything I normally would. I like that this package has both day and night time it makes since to always have both on hand.

Love that this pack is both day and night, so when I need to sleep at night I take the night one and it puts me to sleep so I am not up all night feeling bad, and when I need to get up and work or do things around the house I take the day time and it makes me feel better yet does not make me sleepy. I have been taking NyQuil products for many many years and will always go back to them when I need them. I love that we can take either a liquid or a capsule with the NyQuil brand products.
