After changing my seven month old baby girl, I notice little bumps and I instantly thought diaper rash. Even though it wasn't that intense I decided to treat it before it became any worse. Being a first time mom, I always do research if I'm not sure of something and hope I find the best solution. I found that I could use petroleum jelly which helped but I knew I needed something else for faster results. So I decided to try Desitin Cream that was recommended by a friend, and I actually had a tube but I let the neighbors use it for their baby girl. I was so sure my baby girl wouldn't get a diaper rash.. lesson learned! So after the first application of Desitin Cream to her bottom I seen a big relief in her next diaper change. The bumps are actually fading away, I couldn't be any happier with the results. I intend to use Desitin Cream on my little one for a long time.

I don't know why this item was discontinued and its such a shame because it is the ONLY thing that is effective on the market. With that being said, I realize you offer one in a tube but because of its consistency (which is what makes it work so well) its very difficult to get out of the tube. Secondly, there is a good amount lost when packaged this way. You will have a forever happy customer with your 16oz Maximum Strength Desitin, but sadly I will not be a happy customer if forced to purchase a substandard packaging of this product for more money.

Desitin used to be my go to treatment for both of my baby girls, it healed their rashes practically overnight and had a pleasant "baby smell" that I remember from when my own sisters were babies over twenty years ago. Quite recently however, Desitin has changed their maximum strength paste formula, and it no longer heals my daughters' diaper rashes! My youngest cries when it is applied to her rash, and it does not help it to go away, despite her pediatrician confirming that she simply has typical diaper rash. I will be searching stores for older containers of Desitin maximum strength ointment, and I am extremely frustrated and disappointed by this change in what used to be a phenomenal solution to my children's pain.

What did you do with the 16 oz jars? The regular strength formula is still available in the 16 oz size, so what is going on? Our baby does better with extra strength. My wife doesn't like the tube, but I can't find the jar anywhere. I see others are not happy either. If you can fill reg strenth jars, you can fill extra strength ones. Give customers what they want and they'll be loyal.

Please bring back the tub! I will not purchase multiple tubes of your product! I can't squeeze it out! I am currently purchasing competitor brands in tubs! You are losing customers! Sad you don't care what your loyal customers want! I won't be buying any more until the tub is back! I am a grandmother and have an in home daycare and buy diaper ointment a lot!!

My daughter has extremely sensitive skin and Desitin Maximum strength was a staple in our home. Rapid relief just doesn't cut it. I'm sending a new 4oz tube to daycare every 1-2 weeks right now. It's hard to keep up. So I'm looking for a replacement for the tub. So far what I've found has had too much fragrance and which she doesn't tolerate. I will be switching once I find a suitable cream in a large container. Please bring back the 16oz tub!

This is very heartbreaking that the Desitin Max. Strength 16 oz tubs are no longer available to customers...why would the company discontinue this...small tubes don't let long at all...uggghh...I guess Desitin doesn't care about customer satisfaction will lose customers!!!!

This is, by far, THE best diaper rash cream available. As a Family Practice Physician Assistant (and Mom), I routinely recommend this product to parents of my patients. I was very disappointed to learn the 16oz tub had been discontinued as it is very convenient to have at my baby’s changing station. The small tubes are always getting lost. Please bring back the 16oz tubs!!!!

You are touting this as the original formula. The original did NOT have beeswax. Propolis (in beeswax) is a known allergen. My family is allergic to your NEW formula with beeswax. We had no problem with your original formula without beeswax. For you to say this is "original" is not only disingenuous, it is FALSE advertising. You ruined your brand by getting rid of the actual original formula, which did NOT contain beeswax. This NEW [absolutely not original, as claimed] formula caused massive rashes on my poor baby's bottom.

My daughter is extremely prone to diaper rashes. Anytime she eats citrus fruit, tomato sauce, anything acidic, she gets a diaper rash. We have found the only thing that helps is the maximum strength Desitin. As a result, we go thru it quickly. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a family member who is a pediatrician and they recommend only this product to all their patients.... Please bring the 16 oz tub back!
