When I am having aches from a busy day or even a headache that makes me not able to sleep, I will use Advil PM and I can stay asleep all night. With my kids home for the summer, I end up with aches and pains in places that I didn't know I could even have them and I have a hard time sleeping. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I try to treat pain as naturally as possible, but when occasional pain interrupts a good night's rest, I prefer to use an OTC medicine to help me get a good nights rest without pain. I figured that a pain medicine with a sleep aid would solve my problem. I was concerned that this type of medicine would cause me to be groggy the next morning. I took 2 Advil PM caplets right before bedtime and slowly drifted off to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I knew I slept well because I felt relaxed and rested. I did not experience pain during the night, and the most important thing was that there was no groggy feeling. I am thankful to not suffer from migraines, but the occasional headaches at night make it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. Advil PM not only helps relieve the pain from my headaches, but I am able to get a restful nights sleep, which is difficult enough as it is with young toddlers who sleep in bed with us. Having Advil PM on hand gives me peace of mind that I don’t have to worry when a sudden headache comes on and stress about how it will affect my quality of sleep.

Still felt a little groggy so I slept just a bit longer but other than that, no lingering effects and my headache is gone.
