My daily oats, but make it cookies

I eat oats pretty much every day, but my favorite way to eat them barely qualifies as oatmeal: breakfast cookies. Mash one banana, mix in one cup of these oats, shape into little cookies, and bake at 350° for about 10 minutes. That's it. Two ingredients and suddenly eating cookies for breakfast feels like a responsible adult decision. Quaker Old Fashioned oats are always in my pantry and if anyone asks, yes, cookies are breakfast food.

Box slit on bottom

The oatmeal in itself I'm sure is good, but the box has a slit in it to where oatmeal was coming out. With it having a slit in it, I choose not to eat this particular one. I do not know how to get a picture on here . I took one but don't know how to get it in here

    I like old-fashioned oats.

I like old-fashioned oats. It's a big volume of oats. I make my oats flour and use it for baking. One of my favorite recipes is Italian biscotti with honey and nuts, figs. Cowboys cookies are wonderful too.it more healthy for you to use oats compare with bleach flour.

    There's something about having

There's something about having Quakers old-fashioned oatmeal on a cold winter morning. It brings back so many childhood memories with every bite you take in the morning. If you have it try to home yet I guess you're in the dark ages. Quaker oatmeal has been around for generations that should be word enough to know that it is a staple that you should all have in your pantry

    I start my day

I start my day with oatmeal, always. It makes me feel grounded to the Earth and has all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients your body needs in a warm hug. I usually add a scoop of chia seeds, ground flaxseed, hemp seeds, cinnamon, honey and fruit and enjoy it outside watching the birds with a cup of coffee.

    So versatile and so

So versatile and so easy to make! Whether I use them for overnight oats or a hot bowl of oatmeal topped with some fruit it's become one of my all time favorite breakfast staples! Even tried baking cookies with them and it was a nice healthier alternative to all the peofessed cookies I find at the store! Overnight oats are my favorite way to use them and lately a nice hot bowl of oatmeal with some cinnamon topped with granola + fruit

I love old fashioned oats, I follow the directions on the back to make a bowl. Instead of using water I use almond milk and it's 10 times better. It's a great healthy breakfast choice. I would recommend oats if your trying to be on the more healthier side.

    Why has it changed?

We have been buying Quaker old fashioned oats for many years now. My daughter recommended Red Mill oats before but I liked Quaker just as much then. But Quaker old fashioned oatmeal has changed. It doesn`t cook the same. It has a different texture. The pieces of oats are finer and it tastes pasty, like it has flour in it. The first box I bought like that I just thought it was that one box maybe. But it has been box after box.Quaker has changed something. I am no longer pleased with the product. I will be switching brands. I may have to pay a little more but I don`t like this as much as I used to. I'm sure the change was motivated by the economy. And I don`t blame them for trying to save money but unless they change back, I am switching. If ...

Grew up on Quaker Oatmeal and still love it.

I grew up on Quaker Oatmeal and at 68 still love it! But I'm confused. It's very runny and I have to cook it 2 - 3 times longer than instructions state (I use the microwave). Also, it boils over no matter the size of bowl I use. Help what am I doing wrong all of the sudden? I want to enjoy me oatmeal again.

    large size great price

I was surprised how large the container was because i didn’t pay attention to the size when i was buying it to be honest. i haven’t opened these yet because i still have oats from a different brand that are already opened but i’ve had this brand before and they’re good.

    Nothing beats a breakfast

Nothing beats a breakfast of good old fashioned oatmeal. I always keep some in my desk drawer for an easy breakfast at work. I prefer to add my own flavors and sweeteners since I don't care for the packets that have too much sweetener. A little brown sugar and/or fruit makes it a healthy breakfast. Disappointed

I just tried the new container of oatmeal I recently purchased. They were so difficult to eat after trying to cook them as the instructions called for they we’re not soft like the ones I have eaten for over 50years it’s a shame you changed the product this way. You are losing me as a customer unless you improve the product

Great nutritious snack for any time of day

Warm, filling, can add any fruit and nuts that you like to increase the hardiness and nutrition! The easy carry instant packages are low carb and with added milk, satisfying for breakfast or mid day snack. The smells of cinnamon and spice fill my office and wake up other people's hunger, and easy to share.

    Every morning!

After reading many people complaining about the oats being mushy..... Maybe it's not being prepared correctly. I put 1 cup water with a sprinkle of salt in a saucepan and heat until full boil. Then add 1/2 cup oats with either 1/3 cup raisins or craisins. Give one quick stir with a wooden spoon and turn down to med. cook for 5 min. (No need to stir again) Serve and the Quaker Oats are perfect every time!

    When I have time

When I have time on the weekends I like a nice warm bowl of Quaker Oatmeal. I do not like instant oatmeal so, this is my go to when I have time to spend stirring the pot for the perfect bowl. If I'm crunched for time I go for the Quaker 1 minute oatmeal

The only "healthy" product Quaker makes is gross.

This is the only product Quaker can legally say is "good for you", all of their other products are full of sucralose, maltodextrin and msg. But this product is full of GMOs and utilizes more oat flour than it does actual oats. This is what happens when a "heritage" brand is owned by Pepsi Co. My go to breakfast every morning. I always add in some walnuts, golden raisins and some dried cranberries. Tad bit of butter and some brown sugar to sweeten it a little. So so yummy and never get tired of it. Recently tried another brand and it was completely nasty. Quaker is my go too!

    Since I'm trying to

Since I'm trying to lose a bit of weight, I will eat this with a little milk and brown sugar. My mom uses it's to put in her meatloaf to hold it together. They are very tasty to me. I don't put a lot of water in them because they are too soft and runny. Overall satisfied!

    Quick and Easy to

Quick and Easy to make. Plain so can add whatever you want to it for other flavor. Good and healthy for you. I've had some oatmeal that literally taste like cardboard, even after adding like butter or syrup to it. AND THIS DOES NOT HAVE CARDBOARD TASTE.

    Baking treats is easy

Baking treats is easy when you use a pantry stable like Quaker Oats this easy to make treat makes a lot and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to make..and you don't have to bake it for a long time so it doesn't heat up your kitchen. Quaker Oats has never let me down, their quality shows why they have been around so long. Quaker Oats Old Fashioned

    Because it's minimally processed,

Because it's minimally processed, I prefer Quaker Old Fashioned Oats over the instant, one-minute or flavored varieties - whether Quaker or any other brand. I grew up on Quaker oatmeal and it's still my "go to" for a hot breakfast that sticks to the ribs.
