karinav14Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/15/2015Hi folks, I am writing to you because the last cardboard tube container of the old fashioned oats has a hole in the bottom. The hole is the size of half a dime and is in the circular cardboard bottom. I still have the container and notice that it has codes imprinted on it: Best Before Feb 29 16 L141 I am certain you get enough bogus complaints. My motivation is to alert you to a manufacturing issue. If you are interested I will make a photo and email. This is not shipment or handling damage. I feel certain that the flaw is part of the creation of the container by the manner it intersects the crimped seam joining it to the main tube. The missing piece of bottom cardboard circle show where it is attached and the seam at the missing piece is...

I like to make oatmeal out of them and also put them in smoothie bowls! Plus it never goes out of date even though there is a date. Definitely are a must have on my list!anandareviewsOriginally posted oninfluenster.com
- 1 out of 5 stars review9/28/2022I have been using the regular quaker oats for years and recently purchased a carton of "Old Fashioned" Quaker oats. This product appears different in texture to the product I have used for over 50 years. Am I imagining this or have you just introduced "Old Fashioned.
Has this product changed
Joe noOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 4 out of 5 stars review10/2/2016I read the review, some other customers wrote. I have the problem too. Large box too heavy. The oatmeal container was broke at the bottom. There was loose oatmeal in the box. Mass my carpet. It toke me long time to clean it. I am a senior, it was too much work for me. Listerin is to heavy in the same box.
Oatmeal
520mayOriginally posted onwalmart.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/14/2020The actual product is great. My container, because the box was not packed correctly, suffered damage. The top was bent to the point that it opened up inside the large box it was packed into with the rest of my order. I lost at least 1/3 of the contents.
Product is great, packing sub par
PaulaOriginally posted onwalmart.comQuaker Customer SupportThanks for the love and for being a fan of our oats, Paula. We’re sorry to hear about your container. Please send us an emai... - 5 out of 5 stars review4/27/2021This is really good for fixing a decent breakfast and then throwing in some yogurt to mix in for flavor. Also you can make the famous favorite no bake oatmeal peanut butter cookie with the cocoa powder or oatmeal raisin cookie which you do have to cook.
This is really good
carriem68Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/15/2016I use to serve my mom 1 minute quaker oats at her request; she will turn 100 October 2016; and she has been eating 1 minute quaker oats all her life; however, I love old fashion quaker oats and I found myself making two different kinds each morning so I tried making her my old fashion oats and because my oatmeal is so creamy she absolutely loved it; I add a little cinnamon and carnation evaporated milk, raisins and it now Our favorite because old fashion oats has more substance and better for her digestive system and she is doing just fine.
My personal favorite

Add in your favorite fruits, nuts, natural sweeteners and flavors to customize your oats and make a perfect healthy breakfast. Simple delicious and easy!
emmad206Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/8/2014I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, though I'm not sure how you couldn't, but there are shell-like pieces mixed into the oats. I'm guessing it's the outer layer of the grain, the bran, that gets roasted with the rest of the grains. They become hard and just ruins the experience when eating it. You can't just chew through them...they're hard like the outer shell of a popcorn kernel that gets left behind after cooking it. I like to eat oatmeal because of the health benefits, but this is the most horrible thing for me...eating something that's supposed to be soft and mushy and biting into something hard and unchewable...makes me want to gag and throw up. I want to switch brands but none of the grocery stores in my area carry any ...

daemon9Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 2 out of 5 stars review12/31/2024The cookies completely crumbled after cooking, I suspect it is a problem with the recipe. It calls for only 1 egg, but if you read the recipe on the inside of the Quaker oats box, it calls for 2 eggs. That may what would provides the extra moisture and the right texture.
Needs 2 eggs, not 1
Susan BOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 4 out of 5 stars review5/28/2021Nothing beats a warm bowl of oatmeal on a cold gloomy morning! Quaker oats is definitely my go to brand when buying oatmeal, as I've been eating it since I was a kid. I love to mix some cinnamon, sugar and butter in my oatmeal to make it extra yummy!
Nothing beats a warm
greederOriginally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/17/2016Quaker Old Fashioned Oats is my absolute favorite cereal. It is my go-to breakfast, the one I eat about 5 days a week. I make it different with fruit and sometimes a little swirl of peanut butter. It is also very versatile, and there are many recipes it can be used in. I have been eating these oats since I was a baby. Love them!
The best!

whitetigress1Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/28/2021Oatmeal is great cold or hot. To enjoy it hot I add honey, sliced almonds, Almond milk, banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon. When cold I add Coconut milk raspberries, blueberries, sliced almonds, coconut sprinkles and a dollop of lactose free whip cream.
Oatmeal is great cold

- 4 out of 5 stars review11/14/2016My wife needs gluten free. She makes Red Mill gluten free oatmeal, while I make regular Quaker Old Fashioned Oats. They look and taste the same. What would be so hard about making Quaker's gluten free? Oats are inherently gluten free, right? We prefer the old fashioned over instant, etc.
wish it was gluten free
jhanksOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/14/2019Super easy quick oatmeal if you're someone who is typically in a rush in the mornings. Plus they store easily enough and work great in all types of recipes. Plus it has a pretty great shelf life so even if you aren't using it as often, it'll still be good to use next time you need it.sheyennes2Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review3/29/2021Quaker Oats Old Fashioned This is my all time favorite Oats, I have been using Quaker for years and I love it. I love the old fashion Oat because it's more nutrition, healthy, and it taste so good. I use it for my Oatmeal bowl ad you can see in the pictures, for overnight oats, and Oat milk. Definitely my favorite oat brand, and it's so affordable. Also, Oat is super healthy and helps burn belly fat.
