My daily oats, but make it cookies

I eat oats pretty much every day, but my favorite way to eat them barely qualifies as oatmeal: breakfast cookies. Mash one banana, mix in one cup of these oats, shape into little cookies, and bake at 350° for about 10 minutes. That's it. Two ingredients and suddenly eating cookies for breakfast feels like a responsible adult decision. Quaker Old Fashioned oats are always in my pantry and if anyone asks, yes, cookies are breakfast food.

Box slit on bottom

The oatmeal in itself I'm sure is good, but the box has a slit in it to where oatmeal was coming out. With it having a slit in it, I choose not to eat this particular one. I do not know how to get a picture on here . I took one but don't know how to get it in here

One of my go to breakfast items! I've been trying to eat healthier lately and these oats are amazing! I've mixed them into smoothies, had them with banana slices, and used them for some very tasty and aesthetic oatmeal (see pic). Highly recommend! Quaker Oats Old Fashioned #HealthySnacks

The whole box had to be thrown away

The sides of the individual bags were all split open and I ended up throwing the whole box of instant oatmeal away. It looked like the bags were misaligned during production or something as the box was still intact. This is the first time we had this issue.

I am truly a fan of Quaker Oatmeal products because it's a name that's synonymous with quality. They have a variety of products and their Old Fashioned Oatmeal can be used as a breakfast cereal, in cookies, in smoothies and so much more! It's easy to prepare and filling. I recommend giving it a try. What do you have to lose?

    Reduce Sugar

In an effort for a more healthy product, please consider a sugar reduction on the instant Raisin, Date and Walnut flavor. The raisins and dates add sweetness and less sugar would improve health benefits. I eat it nearly every morning and sometimes stores sell out of that flavor.

    I've grown to know

I've grown to know that sometimes you have to work a little bit for the things that are healthy and this one of them! Although it takes a little bit of time to cook it's so much better and healthier and tastier than the fake ones that you just pop in the microwave for 30 seconds

    I love Quacker Oats

I love Quacker Oats for breakfast. I heat up a cup of water and add the quacker oats while the water is boiling for about 5 minutes. If you want to drink the oats add a same amount of oats. It tastes so good. You feel satisfied and at noon when its lunch time you feel full. You can eat a small lunch.

    This really lowers cholesterol!

When the Dr. told me my cholesterol was too high and he wanted to put me on medication, I told him to give me 2 months to lower it myself. So I went home and proceeded to eat the recommended serving size (3/4 c.) every day and my next blood test proved your oatmeal works.....No cholesterol med's for me!

Great nutritious snack for any time of day

Warm, filling, can add any fruit and nuts that you like to increase the hardiness and nutrition! The easy carry instant packages are low carb and with added milk, satisfying for breakfast or mid day snack. The smells of cinnamon and spice fill my office and wake up other people's hunger, and easy to share.

This staple of our breakfast routine simply is the greatest. It provides the nutritional aspects as well as provides a full feeling throughout the morning - often into the afternoon! Load it up with fruit, nuts, and especially cinnamon for a terrific kick start for every day. Thanks Quaker Oats!

Lose weight and lower blood pressure diet

Here is one way I eat Quaker Oats on my lower blood pressure and lose weight diet. I use 1/3-1/2 cup uncooked oats, walnuts, small banana and blueberries/or chopped apple, cinnamon, skim or coconut milk, and half a small container of plain non-fat Greek yogurt. Mix the oats, nuts and milk together and add some cinnamon. Stir. Let sit for about 5 mins. Add the rest and top with a little more cinnamon. Has a lot of vitamins in it for a healthy heart.

    Broken container of Oatmeal..

It’s oatmeal. So I like it? The only problem is that when my order finally got to me the bottom of the can was busted open. Luckily enough, not a lot fell out into the delivery box. Normally, I wouldn’t order food items online because of stuff like containers breaking etc, but I haven’t had a vehicle to go grocery shopping for a while. Beggars can’t be choosers.

    I usually blend these

I usually blend these into almost powder since they are old fashioned and take a bit longer to cook. I add a little milk while they boil, and swirl in some brown sugar and cinnamon. They are delicious and a healthy breakfast. I also use them as whole oats and mix it with milk and bake it them to make oatmeal bars. They taste great with some fruit baked in and travel nicely since they are baked in a pan and cut into bars.

    Oatmeal with milk and pecans

This is a great cold weather fast meal. I use two packets of instant Apple cinnamin oatmeal in a cup of milk and set my microwave for 2 minutes. After cooking I add about 2 tablespoons of crushed pecans. Then stir until evenly distributed. Eating this with a piece of whole grain toast is a perfect breakfast that takes less than three minutes to make. Add a cup of your favorite coffee on the side and it make cold mornings much better.

    I am hooked on oatmeal!

Quaker oates is a staple in my diet. As an avid tennis player, my diet is crucial. Oatmeal is the perfect breakfast (and lunch) providing me with satisfaction from feeling full, enjoying a warm tasty food, and keeping me feeling content until my next meal. I also enjoy sharing oatmeal with my 98 year old Mother-In-Law when we add different things to mix in and top it off!

Oh fashion oats is good for a warm hot breakfast. I like to make it with energy bars and peanut butter, chocolate chips and honey. There's oatmeal goes way back and is reliable. You can make oatmeal cookies to oatmeal bars to probably an energy drink in your blender. I would definitely recommend it and I would purchase it again.

The flavor is good, the after taste is cardboard.

I have enjoyed your product for the last 70 years. Since Covid-19 the product old fashion oats have had an after taste of card board. I consume approximately one 42 OZ BOX per month. The current product container has a best before JUL 03. (22L340B) I've noticed this after taste in the last three months. How long does it take for oats to acquire the taste of the container? In the near future I will no longer consume your product.

Wouldn't start my day without Quaker Oats!

We eat Quaker Oats, Old fashioned, almost every morning. Even if we eat breakfast out occasionally, I look forward to Quaker Oats the next morning. I call it Good Morning Oatmeal. I like the hardier taste of the old fashioned oats rather than the instant. I even love to spoon out the Quaker Oat goodness into my husband and my bowls in the morning. We feel good, too, about the health benefits of the nutritional value of Quaker Oats. We don't even get hungry again until several hours later.

    OATMEAL IS COMFORT FOOD!

I have been eating your oatmeal for nearly 60 years. I feel Quaker Oats oatmeal qualifies as comfort food - it's homey, comforting, and good for you. Like any long term relationship I have learned how to spice it up over the years hence all my contest entries! Thank you for a wonderful product!
