- 1 out of 5 stars review11/30/2015After sitting in my immaculate pantry for about 2 months, I got out the canister of oatmeal, to make cookies. I could see though the semi-opeque lid 100-200 long, thin, shiny, black bugs, writhing, squirming, moving, quickly around the oatmeal. After researching online, I realized it's common for meal worm beetles to lay eggs in the oatmeal factory. This was a horrifying I counter txt continues to affect me dailey
EWWWW 100s of writhing black bugs in oatmeal

This has been my breakfast of choice since I was a little girl in the 1930's, growing up on Long Island. I still have happy memories of the Blue Shirley Temple bowl of steaming oatmeal with raisins (my mother's choice) and the delicious feel of "good."

DidiOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/7/2021This is our family's favorite hot easy breakfast! Easy to make and so creamy and fulfilling. Our family has been buying this oatmeal for many many years and generations. I remember my grandma making this for me when I was little, now I make it for my kids. Makes the best oatmeal cookies! instant Quaker Oats

- 5 out of 5 stars review11/8/2021I really prefer Old school Oats. I like its texture and the flavor is perfect, not too sweet. I eat it sometimes like cereal and add banana. Sometimes add it to my protein smoothie. Oats are recommended for their high fiber, protein, vitamin B and antioxidants
I really prefer Old

Cookie70Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/21/2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I eat Quaker Oats Old Fashioned every morning. I use the Heart Healthy serving 3/4 cup. But I have noticed it is no longer shown on the packaging. Only 1 serving (1/2 Cup) or 2 servings (1-3/4 Cups). Why has this been removed?
Heart Healthy portion no longer on package
gbacaOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/15/2016I use to serve my mom 1 minute quaker oats at her request; she will turn 100 October 2016; and she has been eating 1 minute quaker oats all her life; however, I love old fashion quaker oats and I found myself making two different kinds each morning so I tried making her my old fashion oats and because my oatmeal is so creamy she absolutely loved it; I add a little cinnamon and carnation evaporated milk, raisins and it now Our favorite because old fashion oats has more substance and better for her digestive system and she is doing just fine.
My personal favorite

First I get it with Nabisco graham crackers, and now I get it with the most ANCIENT of food products I buy! I only had the box for 3 months.
Actually my kids didn't get a chance to eat
Brian LantzOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 4 out of 5 stars review11/14/2016My wife needs gluten free. She makes Red Mill gluten free oatmeal, while I make regular Quaker Old Fashioned Oats. They look and taste the same. What would be so hard about making Quaker's gluten free? Oats are inherently gluten free, right? We prefer the old fashioned over instant, etc.
wish it was gluten free
jhanksOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/1/2015I have been eating Quaker oatmeal since I was a child and I'm 76 years old. My mother always served it in the winter and she proclaimed it would "stick to your ribs!" I also make meatloaf with oatmeal as the filler. Got the recipe off the side of the box. I am getting ready to make a recipe for bar cookies that was on your web site
It is.a staple in my house
Junebug39Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/22/2016One-half cup of these oats, 3/4 cup skim milk with 75 seconds in the microwave--add a banana and who says there's no time for a whole foods breakfast? With a little more thought other great combos are possible--add peanut butter or a few dark chocolate chips or some dried fruit--yum. I love these oats!
Go-to breakfast!
St H GalOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/24/2021Quaker old fashioned oats are not only hood for you but so versatile. I love to make banana cookies with them, no flour added! Just oats, bananas, add some vanilla, throw in blueberries if you like or chopped apple and I like to toss in some flax and chia seeds, bake for 15 min great for breakfast or a healthy snack

tessdOriginally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/13/2014I eat Old Fashioned rolled oats at a minimum of 6 days/week and it's the main ingredient of my favorite no-bake cookies. I buy the 42oz canister and the handy pouring punch out is a real up-grade to using other brands. It sounds a bit 'market-y' to be gushing over a punch-out pouring area but it makes a huge difference when I just want the stuff to go into the bowl or measuring cup without getting on the counter! I bought another brand when the Quaker's was out of stock & learned my lesson - I was hating breakfast until I finished the canister and opened up Quaker's again.
Love the 'new' packaging!
Gnarlyis3Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/19/2016We eat Quaker Oats, Old fashioned, almost every morning. Even if we eat breakfast out occasionally, I look forward to Quaker Oats the next morning. I call it Good Morning Oatmeal. I like the hardier taste of the old fashioned oats rather than the instant. I even love to spoon out the Quaker Oat goodness into my husband and my bowls in the morning. We feel good, too, about the health benefits of the nutritional value of Quaker Oats. We don't even get hungry again until several hours later.
Wouldn't start my day without Quaker Oats!
Harriet AlexisOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/28/2015I can't remember ever not loving Old Fashion Quaker Oats. Just as a cereal there is no limit to the possibilities. Some of my favorite food to mix in with my bowl of oatmeal are: mandarin oranges, apple sauce, walnuts, pecans; really any and all kinds of nuts, chocolate chips, banana bread, almond butter, peanut butter, jelly, jam, really any food you love. I like to bake and the most asked for recipe I make is "Mrs. Fields Cookies" (supposed to be the real recipe) and it has 5 cups of oatmeal and 4 cups of flour, so they must be healthier than any cookie I make (won't tell you there is also 24 ounces of chocolate chips).
So many choices!

mitzii27Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/15/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I keep my granddaughters 2 days a week. When they get here about 6 am we hug, snuggle up and catch up on what is going on with them. I ask them what they want for breakfast. Quaker grits or oatmeal. They will go to the cabinet I keep it in and each will get me what they want. I scramble each of them an egg and split a piece of toast with them. They love breakfast and they love Quaker grits and oatmeal‼️
My twin 2 year old Granddaughters love it‼️
