My daily oats, but make it cookies

I eat oats pretty much every day, but my favorite way to eat them barely qualifies as oatmeal: breakfast cookies. Mash one banana, mix in one cup of these oats, shape into little cookies, and bake at 350° for about 10 minutes. That's it. Two ingredients and suddenly eating cookies for breakfast feels like a responsible adult decision. Quaker Old Fashioned oats are always in my pantry and if anyone asks, yes, cookies are breakfast food.

Box slit on bottom

The oatmeal in itself I'm sure is good, but the box has a slit in it to where oatmeal was coming out. With it having a slit in it, I choose not to eat this particular one. I do not know how to get a picture on here . I took one but don't know how to get it in here

    This oatmeal product has

This oatmeal product has been a part of our breakfast for many years. It's great quality for the price. It's healthy and good on a cold day even for dinner. Once my granddaughters were old enough this oatmeal became part if their diet too. Other than as a great oatmeal, the oats are delicious for making oatmeal cookies.

    Quaker Oats Old Fashioned

Quaker Oats Old Fashioned oatmeal raisin cookies recipe calls for rolled oats and none other than quaker oats has this. I always use them in my recipe. Every year I make my Levain Bakery copycat oatmeal cinnamon raisin cookies and they come out so moist and delicious. I wouldn't buy an invitation or knock off brand ever.

Could not live without Old FASHIONED Quaker Oats.

My husband and I couldn't live without our daily oatmeal. We have it 6 days a week.I like to put it on simmer and cook for at least 15 mins. it gets creamy and oh so smooth.Nothing else in the cereal category like it.Only the Quaker brand will do. No substitutes for us. Thanks for a great product.

    I am hooked on oatmeal!

Quaker oates is a staple in my diet. As an avid tennis player, my diet is crucial. Oatmeal is the perfect breakfast (and lunch) providing me with satisfaction from feeling full, enjoying a warm tasty food, and keeping me feeling content until my next meal. I also enjoy sharing oatmeal with my 98 year old Mother-In-Law when we add different things to mix in and top it off!

Who doesn't love Quaker oats? those products can be used for so many different things. It's not just for breakfast but can be used in healthy cooking. It's always a great value. I love to use oats in cooking vegan loaf meals and as a healthy alternative in cookies.

    Needs 2 eggs, not 1

The cookies completely crumbled after cooking, I suspect it is a problem with the recipe. It calls for only 1 egg, but if you read the recipe on the inside of the Quaker oats box, it calls for 2 eggs. That may what would provides the extra moisture and the right texture.

Best way to start the day.

Quaker old fashioned oats gives me a morning boost. In addition, it's an ingredient I can count on when I want cookies or delicious oatmeal bread. If I want oat flour for baking, I just whiz some old fashioned oats in my food processor. This product is a delicious and reliable pantry staple in our house.

    Everyone loves oatmeal!

Oatmeal is a quick and easy to prepare. I make a big pot and have a toppings bar with fresh fruit, nuts, honey, brown sugar, maple syrup, preserves. And for those who prefer a more savory oatmeal add butter, scallions and bacon. Oatmeal is an easy economical crowd pleaser!

I enjoyed this! It has been a while since I tried this, so it may have changed, but it tastes clean and healthy and it makes me feel confident about my food intake and lifestyle. It makes me feel like I am taking care of myself, and it's also a treat.

    good value

This is a good value in this big size. The Quaker Brand is the best especially when used as a hot cereal, the generics are maybe OK for cooking or a filler for meatloaf etc. After it is opened I find it keeps better if I put it in a tupperware-type container or a heavy zip lock bag.

    The changed product

A few years ago I bought the usual Old Fashioned Oats and it was different. No flavor, texture more like pieces of paper cooked. Recently I bought a new box--surely it will be better. Well, it isn't--I cooked it for the recommended 5 minutes and it still tasted like pieces of cooked paper. Quaker oats--don't say you haven't changed it because you have and it is inedible! It has also ruined my oatmeal cookie recipe that I've made for 50 years. I've also stopped using your quick cook as it's texture and taste is horrible also.

    Quaker Old Fashioned Oats

Quaker Old Fashioned Oats are the best. You can do SO MUCH with them. First of all, it's a healthy breakfast. I personally add berries to my oatmeal and it's so tasty and fills me for the entire morning. Don't forget you can use these oats to make overnight oats in mason jars or to make oatmeal cookies too. Yum!

    I’m hooked on this oatmeal!

I have stage IV cancer and going through chemo. I only am craving mild foods, although I’ve always loved oatmeal. I make mine with water and cinnamon- once done I add the best natural maple syrup I can find, slice in a ripe banana and voila - absolutely delicious!!!! I have it every morning and look forward to it. I’ve tried other brands, including some Irish oatmeal’s, but Quaker Oats is my favorite!!!! Kudos to Quaker Oats!!!

Oatmeal in -- AM NOON and PM!

The BEST! 5 minute oatmeal lovinglly made for breakfast, home made granola with good stuff like oats, honey, maple syrup, almonds, walnuts, raisins and more sprinkled on top. Home made raisin oatmeal cookies for an afternoon snack. Loose granola for a pm snack sprinkled in yogurt. Acutally lowered my cholesterol by eating alllll this oatmeal. If I could bake bread (can't seem to do that) I would be eating homemade oatmeal bread!!! Thanks for a great product.

    Nothing beats a breakfast

Nothing beats a breakfast of good old fashioned oatmeal. I always keep some in my desk drawer for an easy breakfast at work. I prefer to add my own flavors and sweeteners since I don't care for the packets that have too much sweetener. A little brown sugar and/or fruit makes it a healthy breakfast. Grandma knew best

I am soon to be 68 and when I was a kid staying at Grandmas, we had a choice of eggs or Quaker oats for breakfast. That carried on a tradition at my mothers house and my house to always have oats on hand . I think after I have eaten a bowl I can even feel the energy kick in. It is very satisfying to eat for breakfast or anytime for that matter. Looking back grandma knew what was best for all of us.

    OLD FASHIONED OATS ARE

OLD FASHIONED OATS ARE THE BEST OATS TO GET. YOU CAN PERSONALIZE THEM ANY WAY YOU WANT. YOU CAN ADD FRESH FRUIT, MAPLE SYRUP, HONEY, YOGURT, GRANOLA, ETC. THERE ARE ENDLESS POSSIBLITIES. YOUR OATMEAL IS KIND OF A WAY FOR YOU TO EXPRESS YOURSELF. THAT IS WHAT I MOST LOVE ABOUT IT.
