- 1 out of 5 stars review3/12/2024I have been eating this Oatmeal since I was a kid. Always a breakfast favorite. No more! The oats never absorb the water, they are no longer creamy but soupy. The taste is awful, tastes soapy or like chemicals. Listen to all the other reviews stating the same things! Fix your product.

Jessie85Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/11/2015Purchased 160 oz, 2 80 oz bags, in one box at Costco. We eat the first bag. In the second bag at the bottom we notice a lot of brown substance at the bottom of the bag. They were live small bugs, moving. Unfortunately I can never eat this product again without thinking of all the times I eat it with bugs unknowingly.

But I couldn't find it at stores. Fortunately I found it on Walmart.com with a good price so I ordered it and used ship to home service free with other household stuff I needed, saving my time and gas to make a trip to store.
Old fashioned -- always the best!
MinnieOriginally posted onwalmart.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/30/2021With These oats I love making hot cereal with, however I use them with crisps, drop cookies, protein shakes, granola bars. The quality is always constantly the best. I recommend blending with any but butter as well as melted chocolate to coat it and make simple drop cookies.

Julia gOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/20/2021I love the flavor of these rolled oats in my homemade oatmeal recipe. They're a lot healthier than the prepackaged instant oatmeals. I eat them everyday as part of my new healthy lifestyle. Also, they're easily ground up to make my oat flour as well so I usually stock up in bulk. I always recommend this to my friends who want to try a healthier breakfast to start their day.
I love the flavor

I like to put Monk fruit sugar in it, with some pure cocoa powder, and peanut butter. Tastes kind like no bake cookies. I have been eating oats for years, and it helps keep blood sugar under control

lisam468Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/5/2015This is a great cold weather fast meal. I use two packets of instant Apple cinnamin oatmeal in a cup of milk and set my microwave for 2 minutes. After cooking I add about 2 tablespoons of crushed pecans. Then stir until evenly distributed. Eating this with a piece of whole grain toast is a perfect breakfast that takes less than three minutes to make. Add a cup of your favorite coffee on the side and it make cold mornings much better.

Scr47Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/4/2016It is easy to make (Quick 1-minute variety), filling, warm and comforting, high in fiber, and helpful for weight loss. I love adding fresh fruit to it like berries, bananas, or dried fruit like raisins or cranberries. Almost like having a cookie for breakfast!
I eat it every morning at work
lmpateOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 3 out of 5 stars review10/12/2021I am curious why you changed the lid of the old fashion oatmeal container? It is just too flimsy and falls off too easily. I have spilled it more times than I can count, as if it tips over it opens, if you grab it from the top it separates and falls off. Please consider changing it back to the way it was, as I am very disappointed and am sure I am not the only one.

BetteOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/31/2016My grandfather ate it religiously every morning for 24 years after he had a heart attack. Mom ate it with my sister and I when we were growing up. One morning when my son was around two years old, I asked him what he wanted for breakfast. He pointed toward the Quaker Oats canister and said, "Grampa Pettys". It didn't compute so I asked again and got the same reply. In the process of clarifying with him that oatmeal was what he meant, I realized that the face on the canister did look like our Grampa Petty. Oatmeal was now referred to as Grampa Pettys in our home. I now have two grandchildren who love oatmeal and call it Grampa Pettys. Additionally, the gazillions of Chocolate Chip cookies that have been made for three generations, starting w...

vanheezeezmomOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 4 out of 5 stars review3/21/2015This staple of our breakfast routine simply is the greatest. It provides the nutritional aspects as well as provides a full feeling throughout the morning - often into the afternoon! Load it up with fruit, nuts, and especially cinnamon for a terrific kick start for every day. Thanks Quaker Oats!
All America Product!
YellowstoneOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/29/2021Tastes why better than cereal and is way more healthy than cereal! Oatmeal is my favorite food to have for breakfast! I usually have it with plant-based milk (because regular milk is too high in calories), some cinnamon, sometimes flaxseeds, and a table spoon of nut butter. I definitely recommend old fashioned oats and/or 1 minute quick oats.
Tastes why better than
jenniferm863Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/29/2016I've always loved Quaker Oats and cook any of the ones that are plain. The Old Fashioned type is easy for me and by adding raisins or bananas to mine (and milk) I feel like I have filled up my tank for the whole morning. It's slow-burning, too, so I am not hungry again until close to noon.
Healthy start
KatbelooOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review12/4/2017I am sick of seeing your ads pop up on my timeline. Your posts are intrusive, and not wanted. I had a discussion with my son about Quaker theology, and you were listening... So, it appears that you are vain enough to think we were talking about your product. Also had a friend discussing quaker parrots on her timeline. Guess what? You are spamming her now, as well. Get a life.
OATS AND SPAM
UpsetWithQuakerOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 3 out of 5 stars review2/24/2021Convenient, great taste. They are an easy meal to be made on the stove top, with just water. Five minutes is enough time to cook them. They make a satisfying breakfast. The oats may be ground down to make oat flour to use in baking. The carbohydrate level is a bit high. I would like them to be non-GMO, and think a big company like Quaker Oats should be more responsible in the products it sells. Overall, I'm satisfied.
Convenient, great taste. They
carlas111Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/1/2015i have had oatmeal all my life ever since i can remember. back when i was a kid my mom had to cook it the old fashion way, didnt have the "quick cooking" i remember she always used the same saucepan to boil it in. Every morning we had a bowl of oatmeal while we waited for the school bus to come. We would add a few raisins or what ever berry was in season from the farm. Now i am concerned about gluten in my diet and i am so glad that my old friend "oatmeal" is naturally gluten free.
have loved it forever
bootNrebootOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/29/2020Love this brand of oatmeal. It’s cost effective and really good with some cinnamon and oat milk or brown sugar and oat milk. I recently have been eating this all the time now that I’m nursing my son and it’s been said to increase your milk supply. I do have a good supply not sure if the oatmeal is helping but it’s definitely not giving me issues.sagepae73Originally posted oninfluenster.com
