- 5 out of 5 stars review3/4/2016It is easy to make (Quick 1-minute variety), filling, warm and comforting, high in fiber, and helpful for weight loss. I love adding fresh fruit to it like berries, bananas, or dried fruit like raisins or cranberries. Almost like having a cookie for breakfast!
I eat it every morning at work
lmpateOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/14/2020The actual product is great. My container, because the box was not packed correctly, suffered damage. The top was bent to the point that it opened up inside the large box it was packed into with the rest of my order. I lost at least 1/3 of the contents.
Product is great, packing sub par

I finally found it. They are begging me to buy the Quakers Popped Rice crisps when we go to the store! Thanks Quaker for coming up with a healthy snack!

Halliep11Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 4 out of 5 stars review2/8/2021Easy breakfast! I like to keep some in little containers to bring to work and make there when I’m running late. I usually mix in things like fruit, raisins, peanuts, peanut butter, chocolate chips, etc to make it a little more fun to eat. It’s pretty bland on its own.colleenm53Originally posted oninfluenster.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review4/7/2021This is our family’s favorite hot easy breakfast! Easy to make and so creamy and fulfilling. Our family has been buying this oatmeal for many many years and generations. I remember my grandma making this for me when I was little, now I make it for my kids. Makes the best oatmeal cookies! instant Quaker Oats

kathleens46Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/22/2016One-half cup of these oats, 3/4 cup skim milk with 75 seconds in the microwave--add a banana and who says there's no time for a whole foods breakfast? With a little more thought other great combos are possible--add peanut butter or a few dark chocolate chips or some dried fruit--yum. I love these oats!
Go-to breakfast!
St H GalOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/13/2021Almost every day and oatmeal and this have to be my favorite one. There’s so much that comes in one packaging. Nothing about this product needs to be approved and I am always buying it. Friends and family of mine have bought this product because of me. I love it!

donivanaOriginally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/31/2016My grandfather ate it religiously every morning for 24 years after he had a heart attack. Mom ate it with my sister and I when we were growing up. One morning when my son was around two years old, I asked him what he wanted for breakfast. He pointed toward the Quaker Oats canister and said, "Grampa Pettys". It didn't compute so I asked again and got the same reply. In the process of clarifying with him that oatmeal was what he meant, I realized that the face on the canister did look like our Grampa Petty. Oatmeal was now referred to as Grampa Pettys in our home. I now have two grandchildren who love oatmeal and call it Grampa Pettys. Additionally, the gazillions of Chocolate Chip cookies that have been made for three generations, starting w...

vanheezeezmomOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/29/2021Tastes why better than cereal and is way more healthy than cereal! Oatmeal is my favorite food to have for breakfast! I usually have it with plant-based milk (because regular milk is too high in calories), some cinnamon, sometimes flaxseeds, and a table spoon of nut butter. I definitely recommend old fashioned oats and/or 1 minute quick oats.
Tastes why better than
jenniferm863Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/10/2015I have a bowl of oatmeal every morning, I eat it with a little sugar and cinnamon but my favorite way is with fruit like peaches or raisins and sometimes Apple sauce. I eat it all year round but during the winter months it the best. Starts your day off right and gets you going on those really cold days
I LOVE IT
BeefOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/27/2021I discovered using apple cider to make my outmeal about 20 years ago. Now it’s the ONLY way I eat it& it has to be old fashion type. Just use apple cider instead of water & cook as usual. Walk it’s done & tastes fabulous! Try it you’ll never eat it any other way!
Made an oatmeal lover out of my husband!
Kathie1956Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 4 out of 5 stars review7/10/2016We have really enjoyed using the recipe we found in the coupon section of our paper recently. We have made the breakfast in a jar using Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, milk, vanilla yogurt, sweetener, and cut fresh fruit. We put this in a quart jar in the refrigerator overnight. It is a great way to get whole grain, cholesterol lowering and good taste in one easy way.
Nutritious, Easy, and a Good Breakfast Alternative
GramalayOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/1/2019I grew up eating these it used to be the best product on the market anymore. Those are really small and they taste like they're burned and they smell like they're burning when you cook them they're being over toasted and they're being destroyed and the company is losing their name besides that man are they high in sugar carbs I can't believe that horse feed can be that high.
Great price at Walmart

terrcolbertOriginally posted oninfluenster.com - 1 out of 5 stars review12/27/2018A few years ago I bought the usual Old Fashioned Oats and it was different. No flavor, texture more like pieces of paper cooked. Recently I bought a new box--surely it will be better. Well, it isn't--I cooked it for the recommended 5 minutes and it still tasted like pieces of cooked paper. Quaker oats--don't say you haven't changed it because you have and it is inedible! It has also ruined my oatmeal cookie recipe that I've made for 50 years. I've also stopped using your quick cook as it's texture and taste is horrible also.
The changed product
Gram of 4Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/29/2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Quaker Oatmeal all my life. I am 55 years old and find many uses for Quaker Oatmeal in my everyday cooking. I use it in cookies, casseroles, even in my baking recipes as well as by it's self as a breakfast cereal. I will not use anything else.
Only Oatmeal I use
cranerobOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 1 out of 5 stars review10/2/2022I buy and consume a 10 lb box of old fashioned oats every 2-3 months. I have been eating Quaker Oats every morning for 70 years. This the second time I have purchased a box that just doesn’t cook properly. Why???? I cook in water 3 mins in microwave. Water isn’t absorbed and oats are hard.
Something Is Wrong With Oats
Mval30120Originally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/28/2015I can't remember ever not loving Old Fashion Quaker Oats. Just as a cereal there is no limit to the possibilities. Some of my favorite food to mix in with my bowl of oatmeal are: mandarin oranges, apple sauce, walnuts, pecans; really any and all kinds of nuts, chocolate chips, banana bread, almond butter, peanut butter, jelly, jam, really any food you love. I like to bake and the most asked for recipe I make is "Mrs. Fields Cookies" (supposed to be the real recipe) and it has 5 cups of oatmeal and 4 cups of flour, so they must be healthier than any cookie I make (won't tell you there is also 24 ounces of chocolate chips).
So many choices!
Grandma PeggyannOriginally posted onquakeroats.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/12/2016I am such a fan of Quaker Oats oatmeal, I had it for breakfast every single morning while I was working. I have to get back on my regimen now that I am retired. But it is the best way to start your morning. I love to eat and the oatmeal fills me up so I don't have to go and fill my face with bread. LOVED IT FOR YEARS! Thanks
I've loved it for years
