Product was great. Packaging for shipping created a hole in the bottom of round container . Had oatmeal scattered in the bottom of shipping box. My recommendation would be to place oatmeal in a plastic bag and secure the top. Bottom of oatmeal container is flimsy...

Inflation is a massive bummer. It drove the price up like four more dollars which made what was a pretty good deal at eight dollars, now became an expensive commodity. Out of all things, oatmeal. My guess is that the higher cost are no fault of the manufacturer so is unfair to rate this based on price.

I use these for overnight oats and its the best breakfast I've found. 1/4 cup oats, 1/4 cup 2% milk, overnight in fridge. In the AM I add a handful of granola protein (Sams club product) and some blueberries and or blackberries. I never thought I would like cold oatmeal but its SO good!

It’s so convenient to have this large container of oats in my pantry. It is not only cheaper than smaller containers, but I can have premium oats at the price of cheaper oats. I also don’t have to concern myself about going out in bad weather...I can have it delivered to my door.

I love the oatmeal. The reason for the 4 rating as opposed to a 5 is due to the way it was packed for shipping. It came in the same box as a large box of Finish powerballs for the dishwasher. The oatmeal container was punctured right below the lid level. The box of Finish matched in height where the damage was. There was loose oatmeal in the packing box but not too much. I ordered quite a few items which came in multiple deliveries and everything else was packaged with care. The oatmeal was the only thing that didn't quite survive the trip. The outside of the box that everything was packed in wasn't damaged at all.

Not just any oatmeal will do. I tried great value, something was a bit off with the texture and flavor. I like to take a can of cooked apples, empty in caserole dish, take a box of apple crisp mix. Prepare and cook as the directions say on box. Use as topping over oatmeal. I also like to add brown sugar to the water before I add the oatmeal. It's sooo good!

I recommend Quaker oatmeal, it’s great! BUT, Wal-Mart packaged my laundry detergent, two bottles of juice and other items with my Quaker oatmeal... unfortunately I had oatmeal EVERYWHERE except in the oatmeal box. This was no way to ship a food product.

The funny thing about these is it only takes a few seconds to be ready. I slice a banana, sprinkle a goodly amount of raisins into the bowl, unceremoniously dump some old fashioned oats on top, put in a dolop or two of water from the kettle I use for my hot chocolate, and stir. A couple of "dolops" probably add up to less than or about a quarter cup. I get the oats damp, and they are good to go - a great hearty breakfast at the campsite or around the house - Life is camping for me, Oats are what I start out the day with - Oats are even what I start out breakfast with when having eggs, bagels and such. Old fashioned oats = 5 stars. JZ

The packaging is substandard the product is not protected properly , and it’s exposed to elements before it reaches the consumer thus creating fungai in the product and sometimes germinate the moth which shows the old stale product is packaged with the date of packing regardless how old the product is . Edible food must have date of harvest and processing to let the consumer know that they are eating a stale product so they can safeguard them selves for the products on sale oatmeal

I love my oatmeal! Oatmeal is easy to cook,and makes for one of the healthiest, most economical breakfasts possible. If you think of oatmeal as bland, then you need to think outside the box. I add raisins, fruit, nuts, jam, cold cereal, honey, syrup, and almost anything you can imagine to oatmeal to make it a delicious part of my day every day. One of my favorite toppings is crushed tortilla chips. A good breakfast is the start of every good day, and oatmeal is the foundation.
