I make batches of oatmeal to eat for breakfast at work two or three times a week. I cook two bowls worth with milk and a little salt and then reconstitute it in the microwave at work. I use almond/coconut milk when I reheat the oatmeal and it is delicious. I exercise every day and I believe my oatmeal breakfast fortifies me on the inside to get fit and stronger. I recommend a spoonful of almond butter and Wee Bee honey to make it sweet and satisfying.

You can buy all that chopped sugared instant you want, but the Old Fashioned WHOLE OATS ARE SUPERIOR. DO I LIKE THE PRICE INCREASE - NO, but I like the Sturdier Box for Safe Keeping. My cat likes to play with the plastic round string that protects the contents til Open day. I don't like my oatmeal creamy - I like it CHEWY, With fresh fruit, honey and warm milk. I make it All in the microwave, by Heating a 3 to 4 cup bowl of water 3 minutes. Leave a good 2-3 inch collar from the water to the top of the bowl. Pour in 3/4 cup to One cup oats. No need to stir. Cook on High for 3 more minutes - IN 30 SECOND INTERVALS, or it will run over - Watch it! Let sit inside microwave for 10-15 minutes. Add milk, microwave 30-60 seconds. Remove, add Fresh FRUIT and drizzle HONEY. A HOT

My complaint is about the packaging. Had only one top come loose and it did spill about a cup full in the box. Wasn't packed tight and the lids should have been taped. Other than that product was very good. Wish they would take a little more time in packaging the things with lids that can come off.

I eat cold oatmeal with raisins every day. I use a nice glass, fill half way with oatmeal, a handful of raisins, pumpkin flavored (or other) Equal, add fat free milk (not quite cover the top), mix up, cover and into fridge until the morning. I love it and it's so good for you! I don't care for the consistency of hot oatmeal but love it cold. It tastes like an oatmeal raisin cookie. The price for this oatmeal is a lot less than in my local grocery store too. I'm staying home safe so having everything delivered, for free, works great for me.

The in-laws like this more than the quick oats. Found these fresh and as expected. Bought a few of them then sealed them in Mylar bags with O2 packets for long term storage. Great deal when it's a price per pound comparison to other store brand names.

My husband loves oatmeal cookies with raisins so instead of buying the kind from the store without raisins I guess I will make oatmeal cookies with raisins for him. Plus, I like to make my own oatmeal breakfast with lots of healthy things put in it (ground flax, hemp, chia seeds, golden berries, nuts, and lemon juice.

Can Quaker be this humongous? Buy anyway. With condensed milk & water, this will be fabulous. Nothing like not having to starve. Great packaged gift for that needy worker or friend whom you want to reward without making him feel poor or that his family needs food.

The oatmeal box was crushed and opened a gap which allowed product to spill. I felt it was not safe to use therefore discarded it. It was not possible to know if it was shipping or tampering. Not worth filing a claim. I like the product and brand, but security first.

Make sure you have a container that can hold the bulks of this big, double bag offering. Keeps the second bag and most of the first fresh while you enjoy about 2 lbs kept in a smaller container over several weeks. Easy to prepare. Great with chopped fruit added, or butter, or sugar, or just plain.
