Wow, that’s a lot of oatmeal! Delicious. Just not happy with the two separate “plastic” bags the oats are packaged in. Kind of defeats the purpose of “healthy” . Very good price point though.

I used to eat the one minute Quaker Oats which now seemed mushy. This was more satisfying and can be cooked by 3 minutes in the microwave! Then I top it off with almond butter and honey! Yum! Holds you for a long time.

I love this oatmeal because it cooks quickly and adds lots of fiber to our diet. We use a lot of it so we appreciate the price for the quantity of it.

I use Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Oats for breakfast quite often, especially in the winter - warms the tummy. I also use it in place of bread crumbs when I make meat loaf. It makes a very tasty and tender meat loaf. It's better for you, as well.

You can buy all that chopped sugared instant you want, but the Old Fashioned WHOLE OATS ARE SUPERIOR. DO I LIKE THE PRICE INCREASE - NO, but I like the Sturdier Box for Safe Keeping. My cat likes to play with the plastic round string that protects the contents til Open day. I don't like my oatmeal creamy - I like it CHEWY, With fresh fruit, honey and warm milk. I make it All in the microwave, by Heating a 3 to 4 cup bowl of water 3 minutes. Leave a good 2-3 inch collar from the water to the top of the bowl. Pour in 3/4 cup to One cup oats. No need to stir. Cook on High for 3 more minutes - IN 30 SECOND INTERVALS, or it will run over - Watch it! Let sit inside microwave for 10-15 minutes. Add milk, microwave 30-60 seconds. Remove, add Fresh FRUIT and drizzle HONEY. A HOT

Hello, I picked up my curbside ordered Quaker, Old Fashioned Oatmeal, 42 oz, and when I got home I noticed that the "tamper resistant" inner lid had been torn open in one spot. So, I had to drive back to the Walmart store to switch the cardboard canisters. This happened on January 29, 2023. So, I did not open the new canister. I had to travel on business assignments for some time. This morning, I wanted oatmeal for breakfast, so I opened the canister a bunch of dark colored flying bugs came out of the oat meal container. Then I looked at the expiration date printed in the bottom of the carton and read May 7, 2024. So, I will have to go back to the same Walmart store to withch again the same product. This is totally ridiculous. I will try to find the original receipt in the amount of $ 5.68, but I doubt I will find it now after all the weeks I have been away. I will try though. I was not able to find my order number online. This would be another hurdle in my quest to have Quaker Oats for breakfast.

I like this economy size. My chickens also like a warm bowl of cooked oats on a cold winter's morning. This product stays fresh for a good long time so I always buy several. I find the whole oats more filling than the quick oats and less soupy. I cook a bowl of oats covered with water, add brown sugar and a pat of butter and microwave for 2 minutes. It's the best fast and easy breakfast!

Oatmeal has the flavor of childhood. It brings back so many good memories to me. I always put my. mother's fried potatoes in my oats and even fried bologna diced up. It's the best breakfast in the world with a steaming hot buttermilk biscuit loaded with fresh homemade butter on a cold morning when your fixing to catch the bus before school.

Quaker Oats simply are the best in my book and I cook with a lot of Old Fashioned oats, so i tried this product. I was very pleased with the price. The only thing i would recommend is that Quaker needs to come with a zip lock style bag or a carton for each of the 5 lb bags. I had to transfer them to a large plastic container to keep them fresh. But for the price and quality I will be glad to do so
