Overnight Oats-Creamy

I will say that I only just started to use these for overnight oats. It's been several months now. I noticed that my oats were much creamier when I let them sit longer in the refrigerator. If I make them at 9:00pm for breakfast the next day, they are okay. If I add milk at 3:00pm or 4:00pm the day before and let them sit longer, they are much creamier. Hope that helps everyone complaining about the creaminess. I also add almond extract or bananas and peanut butter powder and chia seeds. Yum!

Nice To Have A Stockpile For Winter

When there is a hurricane or tornado and I go to the store none are ever on the shelf. I ordered two because I make oatmeal cookies for others and I love the oatmeal for breakfast. I was scared after purchasing and then reading the reviews. Mine arrived safely. No damage. I will be ordering more. Thank You.

instant oatmeal to go cups

the other to go cups were better. i'm not sure what the deal is now.. different type cup or what, but this oatmeal is not good. i LOVED the apples and cranberries but goodness, this new packaging is either affecting how it heats and is making it mushy, or something is different with the oatmeal. i am so disappointed. this is mushy and horrible.

Love it! Please improve Nutrition Facts

Love Old Fashioned Oats, cooked hot, or served cold with nuts & fruit like Muesli. Request for Quaker to list the nutrition information for COOKED oatmeal, with a clearly stated portion size of the cooked product. Also, please continue the traditional cardboard cylinder container - I put it in the compost bin, then retrieve the leftover plastic layer & rings once worms & organism have broken down the paper. The new plastic bag containers are NOT recyclable in our area and would just go to the landfill.

This Quaker Oats Old

This Quaker Oats Old Fashioned is a MUST in our household! We can have it for breakfast as a good old oatmeal, make some cookies as a treat or even make cold oats when I crave them! You can dress it up with some fruit or just add some hot milk and a bit of cinnamon. Yum! #Influenster #voxbox #oatmeal#quakeroats #breakfast #foodie

The top is terrible

I am curious why you changed the lid of the old fashion oatmeal container? It is just too flimsy and falls off too easily. I have spilled it more times than I can count, as if it tips over it opens, if you grab it from the top it separates and falls off. Please consider changing it back to the way it was, as I am very disappointed and am sure I am not the only one.

I’ve grown to know

I’ve grown to know that sometimes you have to work a little bit for the things that are healthy and this one of them! Although it takes a little bit of time to cook it’s so much better and healthier and tastier than the fake ones that you just pop in the microwave for 30 seconds

A Family Tradition

My dad was a teacher and really wanted us to do well on test days, so he'd make us these old fashioned oats (so our "brains would have fuel all morning," he said). He added cinnamon and raisins, which I assumed was because he loved us so much. We always liked test days because of that. Now I make cinnamon, raisin oatmeal for my kids, but we don't wait for test days--we have it all year long!

Granola from heaven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have made my own concoction of home made granola with old fashioned oats. I bake them on a flat pan with all different kinds of nuts, pecans, cashews, walnuts together with unsweetened coconut, a tablespoon of honey and a pinch of salt at 350 in the oven for 45 minutes. Yum.

Not your traditional oats!

I have eaten Quaker Oats for over three decades and they have been a permanent staple in my house. Quaker recently changed something about their process and I am very disappointed. I buy oats in bulk and am regretting my most recent purchase. The oats taste horrible and the texture is even worse! I tried cooking them a bit longer and still the same results. I’ve always loved plain oatmeal with maybe a small pat of butter. Unfortunately, there’s no amount of topping that can fix the taste and texture of these inedible oats. Please go back to the traditional process and product that so many of us have loved and supported over the years!! I will be purchasing a different product for the time being.
