Quality oatmeal

There is something about Quaker oatmeal that is better tasting than other brands. When I was a kid, I would eat this everyday and I didn't learn how to make it like my mom until I was in my 30s. I've tried generic brands but they can't compare. Restaurants don't use Quaker oats. It has a distinct flavor and texture, and costs more. To me, the old fashioned tastes the best.

Great for both cooking and baking.

Quaker Oats Old Fashioned oatmeal is very easily adapts to both cooking and baking recipes. It add a lot of food value and does only good things for our bodies. For breakfast it can have a lot of things like fruit, berries, yogurt, grains, and seeds added to give even more of an impact for starting the day. We grind it in the food processor and use it in place of flour for some recipes.

Not the original old fashion Quaker Oats

I’m in my 60s I grew up eating Quaker Oats. As I remember old-fashioned quaker oats takes more than five minutes to cook. Today I couldn’t figure out why my old-fashioned quaker oats was soupy, until I read the instructions and it said cooks in five minutes. Even though it is still delicious old fashion quaker oats takes more than five minutes on the stove top and have a stronger oat consistency. Now old fashion equal five minute oatmeal, no good

Runny oats

I made these oats doing exactly as instructions said to use 1/2 cup oats and 1 cup water or milk, they were as runny as a bowl of cold cereal with milk covering them, somebody needs to put the right directions on the canister of oats. I'll do it myself tomorrow using about half the water, I would think before they put instructions on the canister they would try it themselves. Other wise they are great tasting.

I love using the

I love using the old fashioned oats for everything. Adds a good texture to chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and adds body to overnight oats. My toddler loves to eat oats and I know quaker is a well known and respected brand so I have no issues letting him go crazy in the morning.

Oatmeal

I read the review, some other customers wrote. I have the problem too. Large box too heavy. The oatmeal container was broke at the bottom. There was loose oatmeal in the box. Mass my carpet. It toke me long time to clean it. I am a senior, it was too much work for me. Listerin is to heavy in the same box.

I love quaker oats,

I love quaker oats, they are the best oats on the market in my opinion. The only thing I would change about these oats is the price, because the price is so much higher than other oats, I don't get this brand often and instead get a value brand, reccomend though if the price is good for you.

Still great taste as

Still great taste as my grand-parents have given me as a child. Keeps me full right up until lunch. This might be bland for some to eat plain. Add in some berries, maybe some flax seed, or protein powder. It's delicious treat, as well as great filling breakfast !
