Because it's minimally processed,

Because it's minimally processed, I prefer Quaker Old Fashioned Oats over the instant, one-minute or flavored varieties - whether Quaker or any other brand. I grew up on Quaker oatmeal and it's still my "go to" for a hot breakfast that sticks to the ribs.

Grew up on Quaker Oatmeal and still love it.

I grew up on Quaker Oatmeal and at 68 still love it! But I'm confused. It's very runny and I have to cook it 2 - 3 times longer than instructions state (I use the microwave). Also, it boils over no matter the size of bowl I use. Help what am I doing wrong all of the sudden? I want to enjoy me oatmeal again.

box change

Was wondering why on the back of the box of old fashioned Quaker Oats it doesn't show the red heart that had written in it the amount thats for heart health. Used to show 3/4 cup and I THINK 1 cup water. So now don't know if that has changed and why it was taken off. And now don't know should I eat one serving (1/2 cup) or 2 servings (1 cup).

The changed product

A few years ago I bought the usual Old Fashioned Oats and it was different. No flavor, texture more like pieces of paper cooked. Recently I bought a new box--surely it will be better. Well, it isn't--I cooked it for the recommended 5 minutes and it still tasted like pieces of cooked paper. Quaker oats--don't say you haven't changed it because you have and it is inedible! It has also ruined my oatmeal cookie recipe that I've made for 50 years. I've also stopped using your quick cook as it's texture and taste is horrible also.

Excellent Breakfast Food

Quaker Oats Old Fashioned oat meal is my go to breakfast dish. I cook the oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries (fresh or frozen) and then top with chopped walnuts and honey once in the bowl. I like to eat about a cup (dry) of oatmeal as I find it very filling. Giving I'm on a heart healthy diet, I appreciate the value of having Quaker Oats Old Fashioned oatmeal available for breakfast.

2 Mushy

I came to the web site to see if we were buying the wrong product. The oat flakes are not as big and there is more "dust/flour" in the product on a percentage basis. I recall a version of the rolled oats that had almost all large flakes. I don't see what I am looking for here. Winter is coming and this "oatmeal loyalist" wants the good stuff.

The flavor is good, the after taste is cardboard.

I have enjoyed your product for the last 70 years. Since Covid-19 the product old fashion oats have had an after taste of card board. I consume approximately one 42 OZ BOX per month. The current product container has a best before JUL 03. (22L340B) I've noticed this after taste in the last three months. How long does it take for oats to acquire the taste of the container? In the near future I will no longer consume your product.

Best for your health and wallety

I prefer Quaker Old Fashioned oats. It is my "go to" breakfast of choice. Low or no fat, healthy fiber that helps lower cholesterol, good for the digestive tract. I top it with whatever fresh fruit, nuts and usually a drizzle of flax seed oil and honey for a tasty breakfast that keeps me healthy and energized all morning.
